Heavy rains caused flooding to homes along and near the Peace River along U.S. Highway 17 near the Hardee-De Soto county line. The Horse Creek in Hardee county also overflowed it's banks and caused minor to moderate water damage to homes and businesses.
In Hillsborough county, heavy rains caused flood damage to 52 rental homes along and near the Alafia River in Riverview, which crested at 17.0 feet on the 14th.

A cold front brought damaging winds to central Oregon for several hours. Several large trees were toppled in Bend, leading to blocked streets and one isolated power outage. A construction fence also blew across a city road.

A winter storm on December 13th through 15th, 1984, left a heavy ice coating across parts of northwest Oklahoma. One to two inches of ice accumulated on everything in the area. The weight of the ice brought down power lines, leaving about 6,000 people without electricity for a week. Ice also caused severe damage to trees, even uprooting some of them.

Cold arctic air filtered into the Mid-South on December 13th, 2010. Temperatures dropped to 16 degrees at Memphis International Airport during the early morning hours. As a result, one death occurred as a result of the cold temperatures.
A 47 year old man was found outside his Morris home on the morning of December 13th and had died from cold exposure. Low temperatures were in the single digits on the morning of December 13th.
With temperatures in the middle teens during the morning hours on Monday, December 13th, a 73 year old women who had mistakenly locked herself out of her house, died due to hypothermia.

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms developed across the western Florida Panhandle during the afternoon and evening of December 13, 2016. Some of the storms produced frequent lightning and one lightning fatality was reported from Escambia County, FL.
A 26 year old Eagle Point man was killed when he was struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross Interstate 5 on foot. The accident occurred around 13/0615 PST near milepost 33 (Central Point, OR). It was dark and dense fog was reported in the area.
