A second tornado touched down in northeastern Hardin County, was was witnessed by many people. Residents could see both tornadoes on the ground for a brief time. One elderly woman was killed when several large trees fell on the mobile home she was in.
A SUPERCELL THUNDERSTORM PRODUCED A DAMAGING TORNADO THAT MOVED INTO THE SOUTHERN PORTION OF NATCHITOCHES PARISH.
A strong tornado formed in rural sections of Vernon Parish, blowing down many trees and power lines, before hitting the small community of Hutton. 10 to 15 homes were damaged or destroyed. Several people were injured, none seriously.

Hurricane Keith crossed the coast near Siesta Key, FL as a tropical storm, 55 kt, central pressure 995 mb. Tropical Storm Keith struck the Continental United States later in the calendar year than any tropical cyclone since the 1925 Atlantic hurricane season. The nineteenth tropical depression and eleventh named storm of the 1988 Atlantic hurricane season, Keith developed out of a tropical wave in the Caribbean Sea on November 17.

Heavy rain and large amounts of small hail cause a roof support to give way, taking a portion of the roof.
General rains developed along and just east of the I-35 corridor in the eastern part of South Central Texas. Accumulations averaged 1 to 2 inches with isolated 3 to 4 inch amounts.
Heavy rains again brought river levels up above flood stage on the Anchor River, which crested close to 8 feet on November 23. Access to Homer was cut off for at least several hours. Storm total rainfall ranged from 2 to 4.5 inches in the greater Homer area.
A barn was damaged by a fire started by lightning.
The Polk County 911 Center reported that at least 50 trees were down in the Rockmart area, with several more down to the west of Rockmart in the Fish and Fish Creek areas. At least three homes were damaged in the Fish Creek area from fallen trees.
A strong thunderstorm embedded within a rain area ahead of a cold front intensified as it traveled quickly northeast across Volusia County. Mobile homes were damaged well inland in Deland, then over 30 minutes later, the storm damaged mobile homes in Daytona Beach.

Sustained winds up to 50 mph affected most of Western Washington. Winds in the Bellingham area gusted to 76 mph. Around a quarter of a million homes and businesses were without power during the storm.
