A strong low pressure system developed just off the DELMARVA Coast early Friday morning and moved slowly northeast.
A slow moving low pressure center off the coast, spawned late night showers and thunderstorms.
4 roads were flooded in the southern part of the county around Ardmore.
Flash flooding occurred and increased countywide from initially around Red Bay through the rest of the county. Rainfall amounts ranging from three to five inches across the county resulted in water covering several roads and an isolated mud slide along state road 247.
A moist Pacific system moved across Utah over a four-day period. Areas of heavy snow occurred in the higher terrain the night of the 6th through the 8th. In the northern valleys, rain changed to snow on the 7th and continued through the early morning hours of the 9th.
Rain showers began during the warm afternoon on the 5th, ahead of an approaching cold front. In the wake of the frontal passage during that evening. the showers transformed into periods of rain.
Light to moderate rain fell most of the day. Rain amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches were common.
A cold front swept through the region on the 7th bringing gusty southerly winds, heavy rain, and flooding. Winds brought down trees and power lines across the greater Bay Area resulting in injuries to two people in San Francisco.

A squall line produced very strong winds which tore the roof off of a mobile home and a flea market near Asbury in northwest Jasper County. Five power poles were also broken off about 5 feet above the ground.
