Thunderstorms moved off the higher terrain of southeast Colorado and northeast New Mexico on this date back in 2020 and moved into the Oklahoma Panhandle, producing damaging winds. The Mesonet observation site near Boise City recorded a wind gust of 98 MPH as storms rolled through. Needless to say, scattered wind damage was also reported in and around Kenton and Boise City.
