On this day in 1985, freezing rain and thunder snow affected many portions of Oklahoma. Winter storm warnings, severe thunderstorm warnings, and tornado watches were all issued for portions of southern Oklahoma, with golf ball-size hail reported in Duncan at a temperature of 33 degrees. This day was also known as the day of the Ice Bowl, as the Oklahoma Sooners and Oklahoma State University Cowboys played each other in Stillwater. The final score was, Sooners 13, Cowboys 0.

The tornado, in association with a line of severe thunderstorms, touched down in southwest Simsboro, LA. The tornado killed 2 men while injuring another as a tree fell across the cab of their truck while installing a radio. Nine people were injured.
A waterspout moved out of Blackwater Bay and lifted back into the cloud as it moved north northeast across State Highway 87. The storm damaged some trees just before crossing County Road 184.
Sheriff reported a tornado on FM 230 that knocked down 2 trees on a moving truck. 2 passengers had to be taken to the hospital.
A short track tornado struck central Chilton County in the vicinity of Clanton. The tornado damage path began about 3 miles southwest of Clanton off County Road 18. The tornado moved northeast through western sections of Clanton downing trees and damaging several homes.

Urban flooding caused rug damage to a few homes and vehicles in low lying areas west of U.S. Highway 19 from Holiday north to New Port Richey.

Heavy rain over the Poomacha burn area on the south slope of Palomar Mountain triggered a significant debris flow shortly before midnight on November 30. The debris flow rushed down Amago Creek and caused serious damage to several vehicles, a house, and portions of highway 76.

High winds occurred over portions of Northeast Colorado. In Thornton, a contruction worker was critically injured when the scaffolding on which he was standing collapsed, throwing him 25 feet.

On this date in 1996, a winter storm dumped 4 to 10 inches of snow over northwest Oklahoma. The next day, skies were sunny, and temperatures across most of the state warmed up into the lower 50s. However, temperatures across the snow-covered areas only warmed into the upper 30s. Butler reached 52 degrees, while 27 miles to the northwest, Putnam struggled to reach 39 degrees. This is a typical example of how the effects of snow cover can result in drastic temperature differences over short distances.

The Tuve landslide was a large landslide in Tuve, Gothenburg, Sweden on 30 November 1977. Some 67 houses were destroyed, killing 9, injuring about 60 and making around 600 people homeless.

The combination of a storm low far northwest of the Aloha State and a gale low far to its north generated surf of 10 to 20 feet along the north-facing shores of all the islands except Lanai. No serious injuries or property damage were reported.
Patchy fog returned to the San Joaquin Valley on the morning on November 28 as high pressure built in over central California.
