A SUPERCELL THUNDERSTORM SPAWNED A WEAK TORNADO THAT ENTERED SOUTHWEST GRANT PARISH SOUTH OF COLFAX AND TRACKED ACROSS THE SOUTHERN PORTION OF THE PARISH. THE STORM TRACK BEGAN 4 MILES SOUTHWEST OF THE COMMUNITY OF PROSPECT AND TRACKED NORTHEAST FOR 3 MILES. THE DAMAGE WAS MAINLY TREES BLOWN DOWN AND SNAPPED IN HALF. ONE HOME UNDER CONSTRUCTION COLLAPSED.
