- Winter Storm in Kentucky, January 24 to 25, 2026A major winter storm produced heavy snow and sleet across portions of northern and central Kentucky January 24-26, 2026. In addition, portions of central and eastern Kentucky saw heavy ice accumulation, which resulted in thousands of power outages.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Alabama, January 28, 2014On Monday, January 27, a very strong arctic front moved through Central Alabama, bringing extremely cold and dry air to the area. Across the north, temperatures dropped through the day and into the 30's shortly after sunset.
- Ice Storm and Winter Storm in Texas, December 5 to 6, 2013A winter storm affected much of North and Central Texas for an extended period from December 5th through the 10th. A combination of freezing rain, sleet, and a little snow began falling during the day on the 5th and continued through the morning hours of the 6th.

- Winter Storm in North Carolina, February 2 to 5, 1996An unusual winter storm began with freezing rain on Friday morning, February 2 across Greene, Lenoir, Pitt, Martin, Washington and Beaufort counties.

- Ice Storm and Winter Storm in Louisiana, February 12 to 17, 2021The first in a series of Arctic Cold Fronts arrived during the 12th pushing tide levels down along the coast, however the subfreezing temperatures and winter weather did not arrive until the 14th.

- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in Arizona, March 13 to 14, 2025The first of two back to back winter storms moved in on March 13th and left on March 14th. This was marked by an intense band of snow that was short lived, but dropped quite a bit of snow.
- Winter Storm in Pennsylvania, February 12 to 13, 2008A protracted winter storm of snow, sleet and freezing rain affected Eastern Pennsylvania from the late morning of the 12th into the morning of the 13th. More snow fell across the Poconos, while more freezing rain and sleet fell from the Lehigh Valley south through Philadelphia.
- Winter Storm in Utah, January 11 to 14, 1998A broad Pacific trough moved through the region. High winds occurred with the cold front on the 11th. Some of the highest gusts included: Mt. Ogden 107 mph (93kts), Hidden Peak 71 mph (62kts), Bountiful 50 mph (43kts), NWSFO SLC 47 mph (41kts) and Logan 43 mph (37kts).
- Winter Storm in North Carolina, February 17 to 18, 1998The third coastal storm in less than 3 weeks struck mainly coastal areas from Onslow to Hyde County. Up to 5 inches of rain fell along the coast . Belhaven had almost three feet of water standing in low-lying streets and City Hall was flooded.
- Winter Storm in Arizona, January 12 to 14, 1997Perhaps the largest snow storm of the decade brought heavy snow to most of northern Arizona. Heavy snow fell from early Sunday morning, the 12th, through last Tuesday night, the 14th.
- Winter Storm in Texas, January 25 to 28, 2000An arctic cold front moved through North Texas on January 24th, bringing much colder weather to the region.
- Winter Storm in Wisconsin, December 1 to 2, 2007The first major winter storm of the 2007-08 winter season affected all of south-central and southeast Wisconsin with a mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain.
