- Blizzard and Winter Storm in Ohio, December 23 to 24, 2022A long-duration, multi-faceted winter storm hit northern Ohio just before Christmas 2022 with extreme cold, strong winds, accumulating snow and extensive blowing and drifting of the snow that fell.
- Winter Storm in Ohio, January 2, 1999Snow changed to freezing rain and sleet, with a brief change to rain as temperatures rose slightly above freezing, and then back to snow.
- Winter Storm in Ohio, January 6 to 8, 1996The Blizzard of '96 developed near the Gulf Coast and moved up the East Coast. This massive system produced the greatest total and 24 hour snowfall at Greater Cincinnati\Northern Kentucky airport.
- Winter Storm in Ohio, March 7 to 8, 2008On the morning of March 7th, low pressure was located along the Gulf Coast States. Snow spread into the region during the morning and afternoon hours, then tapered off a bit during the evening and overnight into the 8th.
- Winter Storm in Ohio, March 19 to 21, 1996On the first day of spring a major winter snow storm struck the region. Low pressure moving ever so slowly across Pennsylvania was responsible for the snow, and this low also brought strong winds with gusts up to 40 mph.
- Winter Storm in Ohio, March 4 to 7, 2008During the early morning hours of March 4th, low pressure was located over the lower Mississippi Valley. Precipitation began spreading into the area during the early morning hours of the 4th. Most locations across the area had surface temperatures at or just below freezing.
- Winter Storm in Ohio, December 22 to 23, 2004A record setting winter storm affected northern Ohio on December 22nd and 23rd. The impact and damage caused by this storm has been compared to the Blizzard of January 1978. Low pressure developed over eastern Texas early on the 22nd and then moved quickly northeast.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Ohio, February 1 to 2, 2011An area of low pressure developed over the southern Plains on February 1st and then moved quickly northeast. This low moved across northern Ohio during the morning hours of February 2nd. Three waves of wintry precipitation were associated with this storm across northern Ohio.
- Winter Storm in Ohio, February 25 to 26, 2008Low pressure moved across central Indiana during the evening hours of the 25th into much of the 26th with widespread snow across northwest Ohio. Most locations seen from four to 7 inches with some sleet mixed in along and south of US 30.
- Winter Storm and Flood in Ohio, January 19 to 20, 2019A strong storm system moved through the Ohio River Valley and central Appalachians on the 19th and 20th. Temperatures ahead of this system were warm, so precipitation started as rain. Around one inch of rain fell on the 19th.
- Winter Storm in Ohio, January 27 to 28, 2009An area of low pressure tracked northeast from the Tennessee Valley during the evening hours of the 27th. This area of low pressure continued northeast and moved through the Ohio River Valley, and then into western Pennsylvania during the early afternoon of the 28th.
- Winter Storm in Ohio, December 22 to 23, 2004A record setting winter storm affected northern Ohio on December 22nd and 23rd and dumped both heavy snow and freezing rain on Knox, Holmes, Wayne and Stark Counties. The impact and damage caused by this storm has been compared to the Blizzard of January 1978.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Ohio, December 15 to 17, 2007An area of strong low pressure moved northeast across Ohio during the morning hours of December 16th. Precipitation associated with this low spread into northern Ohio on the 15th and continued till late on the 16th.
- Winter Storm in Ohio, February 5 to 6, 2010An area of strong low pressure moved north from the Gulf Coast to Kentucky on February 5th. The low lingered over eastern Kentucky from much of the 6th before shifting to the Mid Atlantic Coast late in the day.
- Winter Storm in Ohio, December 22 to 23, 2004A potent winter storm affected northern Ohio on December 22nd and 23rd. Low pressure developed over eastern Texas early on the 22nd and then moved quickly northeast.
- Winter Storm in Ohio, January 19 to 21, 2019A low over the Southern Plains on January 18 deepened as it tracked northeast to the lower Ohio Valley on January 19, eventually reaching the upper Ohio Valley early on January 20.
- Winter Storm in Ohio, February 13 to 14, 2007During the overnight hours into the 13th, an area of low pressure developed over Texas. This area of low pressure tracked northeast through the Tennessee Valley during the 13th, and then over the central Appalachians during the 14th.
- Winter Storm in Ohio, March 26, 2002Low pressure moved northeast across Ohio causing freezing rain to develop in advance of a warm front stretching east from the low. The freezing rain first began during the early morning hours south of a line from Marion to Akron.
- Winter Storm in Ohio, February 1 to 2, 2015An area of low pressure developed over the Central Plains early on February 1st. The low then moved rapidly northeast toward the Ohio Valley eventually crossing southern Ohio during the evening of the 1st and early morning hours of the 2nd.
- Winter Storm in Ohio, December 22 to 23, 2004A potent winter storm affected northwestern Ohio on December 22nd and 23rd. Low pressure developed over eastern Texas early on the 22nd and then moved quickly northeast.
- Winter Storm in Ohio, January 22 to 23, 2005An area of low pressure over the Northern Great Lakes moved southeast into northern Ohio early on January 22nd. Heavy snow associated with this low spread into northwestern Ohio just after midnight, and as far east as northeast Ohio by daybreak on the 22nd.
- Winter Storm in Ohio, February 20 to 22, 2011An area of low pressure tracked slowly east across the Ohio Valley on February 20th and 21st. A warm front stretching east from this low moved north into northern Ohio on the 20th and caused freezing rain to develop from west to east during the evening hours.
- Winter Storm in Ohio, March 12, 2014An area of deepening low pressure moved up the Ohio Valley on March 12th. The low shifted to the east coast during the evening hours.
- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in Ohio, February 4 to 5, 2014A low pressure system developed near the gulf coast on February 4th and tracked northeast through the Tennessee and Ohio Valleys to near Pittsburgh by the morning of February 5th. As this system tracked northeast it brought heavy snow to northern Ohio.
- Winter Storm in Ohio, February 25 to 27, 2008Low pressure moved northeast from the Tennessee Valley over the Ohio River by the morning hours of the 26th. Snow spread across the region during the late evening hours of the 25th and through the overnight hours into the 26th.
