- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in Idaho, December 24 to 25, 2014A strong storm system brought significant snowfall and difficult travel conditions to all of southeast Idaho over the Christmas holiday. Several traffic accidents occurred with two fatalities occurring on interstate 15 just south of Pocatello.
- Winter Storm in Idaho, February 7 to 8, 2002A strong frontal system brought a variety of winter weather to all of southeastern Idaho including heavy snow and strong winds. The storm produced some heavy snowfall in the mountains with 6 to 12 inches reported by SNOTEL sites.
- Winter Storm in Idaho, November 27 to 28, 2016A late November snow storm created extensive travel problems in the Snake River Plain and Upper Snake Highlands.
- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in Idaho, April 10 to 13, 2022A very long period of extremely cold conditions for mid April and a continual push of Pacific moisture led to heavy mountain snowfall with snow levels down to valley floors. Interstate pile ups and a snow related fatal airplane crash all occuured during this period.
- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in Idaho, December 14 to 16, 2009A strong warm front brought heavy snow to portions of North Idaho. Behind the warm front, shallow cold air remained in the valleys which resulted in a mixed bag of snow, freezing rain, and freezing drizzle with minor ice accumulations reported.
- Winter Storm and Avalanche in Idaho, January 7 to 11, 2017A long dawn out atmospheric river event brought a variety of impacts to southeast Idaho including extremely heavy mountain snow, valley snow then rain on snow leading to flooding and roads covered with ice in the Snake River Plain, and many mountain avalanches.
- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in Idaho, October 10 to 12, 2008Heavy snow affected much of southeast Idaho over the weekend period of October 10th through October 12th. The heaviest hit areas were the Eastern Magic Valley and southern highlands where snow amounts over a foot were common.
- Flash Flooding and Winter Storm in Idaho, February 2 to 28, 1999Heavy snow of 6-15" each day was reported across portions of north Idaho. Some of the sites included: Sandpoint, Potlatch, St. Maries, Kellogg and Winchester. The heavy snow caused hazardous driving conditions and several accidents on area roadways.
- Winter Storm in Idaho, February 9 to 11, 2019A very strong Pacific system with an associated cold front brought heavy weekend snow to the Central Mountains, Eastern Magic Valley, Snake River Plain, Arco Desert, and Upper Snake River Highlands.
- Blizzard and Winter Storm in Idaho, December 24 to 26, 2008An intense Pacific storm brought heavy snow and strong winds to all of southeast Idaho. One to three feet of snow fell in the Central Mountains with 4 to 8 inches in the Snake River Plain with blizzard conditions.
- Winter Storm in Idaho, January 21, 2002A major winter storm brought heavy snow to the mountains of southeastern Idaho. 6 to 14 inches of snow were reported above 6000 feet. Strong winds accompanied the storm and created many road closures. Interstate 15 was closed from Idaho Falls to Roberts.
- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in Idaho, December 23 to 24, 2015Another winter storm with both snow and strong winds again affected southeast Idaho with difficult travel and many road closures.
- Winter Storm and Avalanche in Idaho, February 19 to 20, 2021More snow and wind gusts closed many roads in the Upper Snake River Highlands again on the 19th and 20th of February.
- Winter Storm in Idaho, March 17, 2013A strong cold front moved through eastern Idaho early on March 17th and brought with it snow and very strong wind. The combination of snow and wind caused some road closures and fatal automobile accidents.
- Winter Storm in Idaho, February 3 to 4, 2014Several traffic accidents occurred on February 3rd with one fatality on interstate 15 and heavy snow fell in the Upper Snake River Highlands. Several roads closed the evening of the 3rd including parts of interstate 15, US Route 20 and State Highway 87.
- Winter Storm in Idaho, March 22, 2013A heavy snow shower caused slick roads and reduced visibilities on Highway 37 just north of Rockland. The conditions caused a two car collision which resulted in a fatality at around 6:15 pm on March 22nd.
- Blizzard and Winter Storm in Idaho, February 6 to 8, 2008On February 6-8, a persistant winter storm moved east across North Central Idaho and produced heavy snowfall and gusty winds in many locations.
- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in Idaho, December 2 to 31, 1999Snow amounts of 4 to 12 inches were reported in the mountains of North Idaho, mainly above 3000 feet in elevations.
- Winter Storm and Avalanche in Idaho, March 9 to 11, 2023A strong late winter Pacific storm brought heavy snow, heavy rain and strong winds which closed roads across southeastern Idaho. Reports of flooding and wind damage also occurred.
- Winter Storm and High Wind in Idaho, December 20, 2016A robust shortwave brought heavy mountain snow, mixed precipitation and strong gusty winds. Cold surface temperatures contributed to icy conditions in valley locations.
- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in Idaho, March 1 to 4, 2024An extreme winter storm affected all of southeast Idaho the first 4 days of the month. Extreme amounts of Pacific moisture combined with several short waves and a cold frontal passage brought widespread snow amounts over a foot.
- Winter Storm and Flood in Idaho, March 11 to 14, 2026An intense and prolonged atmospheric river (AR) impacted the Northern Rockies, directed primarily at North-Central Idaho. This event was characterized by a deep moisture plume and an unseasonably warm air mass, which transitioned mountain snow to a heavy rain-on-snow event.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Idaho, February 11 to 14, 2021Widespread snow and wind occurred across southeast and central Idaho.
- Blizzard and Winter Storm in Idaho, April 8 to 9, 1999A winter storm brought widespread snow to Eastern Idaho with blizzard conditions reported in the Magic Valley. Heavy snow and strong winds were reported in the Burley area with accumulation of up to 6 inches and drifts of up to 2 feet.
- Winter Storm in Idaho, February 24 to 25, 2000A winter storm brought heavy snow to the populated area of Eastern Idaho. Accumulation of 6 to 9 inches were recorded, including 7 inches at Idaho Falls and Pocatello. The snow caused a multi car pileup on I-15 through Pocatello.
