- Frost and Freeze in Texas, February 13 to 18, 2021A strong cold front moved through Deep South Texas and the Rio Grande Valley on February 12th, followed then by a strong Arctic High building into the area on February 13th.
- Frost and Freeze in California, December 8, 2009A storm moved across northern and central California on December 6 leaving a cold air mass in its wake. The cold air mass led to overnight temperatures dropping below freezing.
- Winter Weather and Frost and Freeze in North Dakota, November 4 to 27, 1997Freezing drizzle made bridges and overpasses extremely slick. The deceased's Jeep hit an icy overpass on the Spiritwood interchange on I-94. The Jeep rolled numerous times down the embankment. The passenger was also injured in the accident.
- Frost and Freeze in Washington, December 14, 2021A teenager was killed in a morning car crash, likely due to icy roads.
- Frost and Freeze in Idaho, October 26, 2013Frost was able to form over area bridges on U.S. Highway 12 causing slippery conditions for which a motorcyclist lost control and died.
- Frost and Freeze in Oregon, November 15 to 18, 2014An upper ridge of high pressure and easterly winds resulted in widespread freezing temperatures from November 15th through November 18th. No crop formation was damaged, but frost formation on roads and bridges resulted in several traffic accidents, including one fatality.
