- Frost and Freeze in Wisconsin, May 15, 2016An unseasonably cold air mass settled over Southern WI. Temperatures fell into the upper 20s to lower 30s for several hours early Sunday morning.
- Frost and Freeze in Wisconsin, April 15 to 16, 2000Periods of rain occurred across north central and northeast Wisconsin between the afternoon of the 15th and the evening of the 16th. Surface temperatures below freezing caused the rain to form a glaze on trees, power lines, streets and sidewalks.
- Frost and Freeze in Wisconsin, January 9 to 10, 2000Many roads across central and northeast Wisconsin became ice-covered and hazardous from freezing rain and freezing drizzle that fell late on the 9th into the early morning hours of the 10th. Widespread dense fog also developed across northeast and east-central Wisconsin.

Clear skies and light winds allowed temperatures to fall below freezing in protected areas.

- Frost and Freeze in Wisconsin, April 1 to 30, 2017The lack of a snow cover during the winter and freezes during the spring led to a large amount of winterkill to alfalfa over portions of far eastern WI. The USDA declared a disaster area for Sheboygan, Ozaukee, Washington, and adjacent counties.
