- Frost and Freeze in Arkansas, April 7 to 8, 2007A northwest wind flow developed over the region in early April. Arctic high pressure slowly built toward Arkansas, with below-freezing temperatures across northern sections of the state during the early morning hours of the 5th through the 9th.

- Frost and Freeze in Arkansas, April 13 to 15, 2008A northerly wind flow aloft brought unseasonably cold air to Arkansas. A surface high pressure settled toward the state on the 13th and 14th, then the high was centered over the state on the morning of the 15th.
- Frost and Freeze in Arkansas, April 15 to 16, 2014Following the passage of a strong cold front on the 13th, high pressure settled into Arkansas. Unseasonably cold weather occurred on the mornings of the 15th and 16th. On the 15th, all of northern Arkansas had a freeze, as did some locations in central and southern Arkansas.
