- Frost and Freeze in Alabama, April 7 to 8, 2007An unusually cold spring time air mass setteled across Central Alabama, bringing record cold temperatures to the entire region.
- Frost and Freeze in Alabama, March 3 to 7, 2019An outbreak of unseasonably cold weather occurred from the 3rd through the 7th over much of the region. Overnight lows were in the 20s with highs only reaching the 30s and 40s. In fact, on the 4th, several locations stay at or below freezing through the entire day.
