- Marine Thunderstorm Winds in North Atlantic Coastal Waters, March 6, 2004Strong thunderstorm winds were responsible for capsizing a 36-ft water taxi near Fort McHenry. The 41 kt gust was reported at Baltimore-Washington International Airport. Ft McHenry is 7 miles northeast of Baltimore-Washington International Airport.

- Marine Thunderstorm Wind in South Atlantic Coastal Waters, March 30, 2003A 17-foot boat was swamped or capsized by strong thunderstorm winds associated with the passage of a cold front. A family of four on board were thrown into Biscayne Bay and remained there overnight for 15 hours before being rescued by the Coast Guard.
- Marine Thunderstorm Wind in South Atlantic Coastal Waters, June 13, 2009Two adults died after their 15 foot boat capsized on the Indian River during a strong thunderstorm. Two other adults onboard were unharmed, although all four were thrown into the water. None of the boat occupants were wearing life jackets.
- Marine Thunderstorm Winds in South Atlantic Coastal Waters, August 10, 2014Scattered thunderstorms moved east across Brevard County producing a period of wind gusts near 35 knots. An outflow boundary in advance of the storms created rough seas over a portion of the Indian River. A boat caught in the strong winds capsized.
- Marine Thunderstorm Winds in South Atlantic Coastal Waters, July 24, 2015A moist and unstable environment caused scattered afternoon thunderstorms which moved into the Atlantic waters, causing gusty winds and rough seas.
- Marine Thunderstorm Wind in South Atlantic Coastal Waters, August 16, 2019Scattered thunderstorms moved across the Brevard County coastal waters during the mid to late afternoon. Weather radar indicated wind gusts of 35 to 40 knots likely occurred with some of the storms. Two boaters went missing in this area at about the same time.
- Marine Thunderstorm Winds and Waterspouts in Gulf of Mexico, June 14 to 19, 2023The middle part of June was unusually stormy across the area. Numerous rounds of strong to severe storms impacted the region with multiple squall lines producing strong to severe winds across the coastal waters.
- Marine Thunderstorm Wind in North Atlantic Coastal Waters, September 18, 2004Heavy rain bands with embedded thunderstorms over Eastern Long Island Sound produced wind gusts up to 43 knots. This resulted in a 31 foot boat capsizing near Niantic Bay. Two men were thrown into the water. One of them was killed. The boat sustanied significant structual damage.

- Marine Thunderstorm Winds in Gulf of Mexico, November 6, 2006A line of strong to severe thunderstorms moved across the southeast Louisiana and Mississippi coastal waters as a strong upper level disturbance moved across the lower Mississippi Valley.
- Marine Thunderstorm Wind in South Atlantic Coastal Waters, April 12, 2007A line of severe thunderstorms moved across Biscayne Bay and the near shore Atlantic waters of Miami-Dade County. Winds and rough seas capsized a small boat near Fowey Rocks.
- Marine Thunderstorm Wind in South Atlantic Coastal Waters, August 18, 2007Strong thunderstorms developed over the coastal waters of Southeast Florida around midday on August 18th. These storms moved onshore with strong and gusty winds.

- Marine Thunderstorm Winds in South Atlantic Coastal Waters, July 24, 2015A moist and unstable air mass produced early afternoon thunderstorms that resulted in strong wind gusts along the Space and Treasure Coasts. A paddleboarder offshore South Hutchinson Island in St. Lucie County was impacted by winds and likely drowned.
