- Marine Thunderstorm Winds in Gulf of Mexico, July 20 to 22, 2020Numerous gale-force wind gusts from squalls and thunderstorms occurred throughout the Florida Keys and adjacent coastal waters as a strong tropical wave moved slowly west. The marine impacts were most-pronounced all day on July 21st and continued through the morning of July 22nd.
- Marine Thunderstorm Winds in Gulf of Mexico, August 13 to 15, 2021Tropical Storm Fred degenerated into an open tropical wave while moving northwest into the offshore southeast Gulf of Mexico waters. Numerous rain bands streamed toward the northwest and through the Florida Keys coastal waters, producing several rounds of gale-force wind gusts.

The intense line of thunderstorms produced winds of 50 to 70 mph.

Wind gusts were between 35 and 50 knots with several long duration events.
