- Frost and Freeze in Ohio, April 6 to 8, 2007Unseasonably warm temperatures for an extended period of time in March allowed much of the Ohio Valley to begin its agricultural growing season early. In early April, a cold snap with low temperatures dropping into the low 20s threatened agricultural interests across the region.
- Frost and Freeze in Ohio, October 3, 2003Temperatures dropped into the 25 to 30 degree range, ending the growing season for many areas. Heavy frost was reported in rural locations. Carpenter minimum temperature was 26 degrees. Beverly observed 27 degrees.
