- Frost and Freeze in Michigan, April 27 to 29, 2012A killing freeze caused extreme damage to agriculture, particularly in the fruit belt of Northwest Lower Michigan. Traverse City saw low temperatures of 25 degrees on the 27th, 31 degrees on the 28th, and 26 degrees on the 29th.
- Frost and Freeze in Michigan, April 27, 2012A record warm March allowed many fruit blossoms to bloom early. Then temperatures dipping into the 20s in late April lead to severe damage of fruit crops.
