- Frost and Freeze in Indiana, April 6 to 8, 2007Unseasonably warm temperatures for an extended period of time in March allowed much of the Ohio Valley to begin its agricultural growing season early.
- Frost and Freeze in Indiana, April 8, 2007This was the fourth and most extreme of several freezes on consecutive nights. Extensive damage occurred to some crops, gardens, and even trees. Record warmth in March preceded these freezes. Most growth was well ahead of schedule when the record cold struck.
- Frost and Freeze in Indiana, May 9, 2020During the overnight hours of May 8th going into May 9th, a widespread hard freeze occurred across much of Indiana. Temperatures ranged from the low 30s in southern Indiana to the mid 20s in central Indiana and low 20s in northern Indiana.
- Frost and Freeze in Indiana, April 15 to 16, 2020Temepratures across Indiana fell into the mid to upper 20s during the overnight hours of April 15th into the 16th. This cold weather led to significant crop damage across central and southern Indiana.

Temperatures dropped to at or below the freezing mark in all of NWS Louisville's counties in southern Indiana.
- Frost and Freeze in Indiana, April 18, 1997An unseasonably cold April caused problems for some growers, especially fruit growers. The peach crop was especially vulnerable because mild temperatures in March resulted in early blossoms. The low on April 18 was 30 degrees at Evansville.
- Frost and Freeze in Indiana, October 9 to 10, 2000A widespread killing frost affected southwest Indiana, bringing an end to the growing season. Evansville broke the record low temperature for the date when the temperature fell to 29 degrees.
- Frost and Freeze in Indiana, April 18, 2001An unusually late frost damaged unprotected crops and gardens. The low temperature at Evansville was 26 degrees, a record for the date. Among the most heavily affected crops were strawberries, peaches, nectarines, and apples.
- Frost and Freeze in Indiana, October 3, 2003Cold Canadian high pressure pushed the coldest air up through this point in the fall season into southwest Indiana. Clear skies and calm winds allowed frost to form. This was unusually early in the season for the first frost. The low at Evansville was 33 degrees.
- Frost and Freeze in Indiana, May 4, 2005An unusually late season frost occurred. Low temperatures were in the middle 30's, including 34 degrees at the Evansville airport. This was the last of four consecutive frosty mornings. Lows each morning from May 1st to the 4th were about the same, mostly in the middle 30's.
- Frost and Freeze in Indiana, October 28, 2005Widespread frost was observed across southwest Indiana. Low temperatures ranged from 32 degrees at Evansville to 34 degrees at the Mount Vernon Water Works on the Ohio River.
- Frost and Freeze in Indiana, October 14 to 15, 2006Widespread frost and freezing temperatures occurred on two consecutive nights. The frost and freeze conditions were about a week or two earlier than usual in the fall. Lows were mostly in the lower 30's both nights.

- Frost and Freeze in Indiana, October 29, 2008Surface high pressure crossed the Lower Mississippi Valley. The combination of light winds, dry air, and clear skies allowed temperatures to fall below freezing with widespread frost. Low temperatures were in the upper 20's at most locations.
- Frost and Freeze in Indiana, October 28, 2008Cold Canadian high pressure moved south into the Plains. Brisk north winds brought the first freeze of the season to the entire region. Low temperatures were from 30 to 32 degrees at most observing sites.
