- Tornadoes in Indiana, November 6, 2005This was the deadliest tornado in Indiana since April 3, 1974. This tornado tracked a total of 41 miles from Henderson County, KY into Spencer County, IN. A total of at least 500 homes and buildings were destroyed or severely damaged.
- Tornadoes and Hail in Indiana, March 2, 2012A surface Low over Missouri early in the afternoon of March 2nd strengthened to below 990mb as it moved north into Michigan by the evening hours. Around dawn, a warm front moved north of the Ohio River, accompanied by scattered elevated thunderstorms that produced small hail.

- Flood and Hail in Indiana, August 13, 2011Thunderstorms developed ahead of a cold front during the afternoon and evening of August 13. As these storms moved across central Indiana, they brought damaging winds and large hail to the area.
- Flash Flooding and Hail in Indiana, March 20, 2020Showers and thunderstorms developed through the early morning hours as a low pressure system moved through the Ohio Valley. Some of the storms produced locally heavy rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches.
- Tornadoes and Hail in Indiana, March 31, 2023A strong, occluding storm system over the Upper Midwest produced a deep column of strong southwesterly winds over the Midwest on the afternoon and evening of the 31st.|This pattern generated an inordinate amount of vertical wind shear.
- Flooding in Indiana, March 4 to 9, 2026During March 3 to March 7, 2026, large surface high pressure from the southeastern United States into the Atlantic focused a broad fetch of Gulf moisture northward into the Midwest.
- Winter Weather in Indiana, January 8, 2022A very thin layer of dry air in the lowest levels of the atmosphere led to surface temperatures dropping quickly during the early afternoon as light liquid precipitation began falling on western central Indiana.
- Winter Weather in Indiana, December 21 to 22, 2008An arctic cold front swept through northern Indiana early on December 21st. Strong west winds of 20 to 35 mph, combined with lake-effect snow showers created reduced visibilities and blowing snow. This led to icy road conditions.
- Flash Flooding and Lightning Strike in Indiana, June 6 to 7, 2008Massive and historic flash flooding struck central Indiana. The Great Flood of June 2008 was one of Indiana's costliest natural disasters. Major roads and interstates flooded. Heavy rainfall on May 30th allowed streams and rivers to rise.

- Tornadoes and Hail in Indiana, May 13, 1995A number of large trees were blown down at La Fontaine.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Indiana, February 4 to 9, 2008Heavy rain fell onto saturated and frozen ground across northwest Indiana which produced flash flooding on February 4th and 5th. Flooding then continued for several days.
- Tornado and Hail in Indiana, March 2, 2012Thunderstorms developed during the afternoon in a high wind shear environment ahead of a strengthening low pressure system. Many of these storms became severe, with large hail, damaging thunderstorm winds, and tornadoes all being the main threats.
- Blizzard in Indiana, February 1 to 2, 2011A powerful and enormous winter storm moved across northwest Indiana with blizzard conditions across much of the area which paralayzed the region. Heavy snow began falling during the early afternoon.
- Hail and Damaging Winds in Indiana, June 26, 2008Severe thunderstorms produced hail and wind damage across central Indiana from mid-afternoon through early evening.
- Flooding and Hail in Indiana, April 2 to 9, 2014The heaviest and most widespread rains of the month occurred at the beginning of April. Storms from the 2nd through the 4th dumped 2 to 6 inches of rain on central and southern Indiana. Central Indiana experienced widespread areal flooding from the 3rd through the 4th.

- High Wind in Indiana, September 14, 2008The remnants of Hurricane Ike moved across the Ohio Valley on the morning and afternoon of September 14th. This system combined with an upper level trough and surface cold front approaching the region to bring very strong surface wind gusts to the area.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Indiana, January 12 to 13, 2012Snow and blowing snow impacted much of northern Indiana late January 12th into January 13th as a low pressure system deepened northward towards Lake Huron.
- Excessive Heat in Indiana, July 1 to 8, 2012The historic heat wave that began in late June continued into July. This heat was comparable to the intense heat experienced in the 1930's. The high temperature exceeded 100 degrees on 10 out of 11 days going back to June 28 and ending on July 8.
- Rip Current in Indiana, July 9, 2016Hazardous swim conditions existed across northwest Indiana beaches during the day and evening hours as gusty northwest winds caused wave heights up to 9 feet.
