- Flash Flooding and Hail in Indiana, March 20, 2020Showers and thunderstorms developed through the early morning hours as a low pressure system moved through the Ohio Valley. Some of the storms produced locally heavy rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches.
- Flash Flooding and Lightning Strike in Indiana, June 6 to 7, 2008Massive and historic flash flooding struck central Indiana. The Great Flood of June 2008 was one of Indiana's costliest natural disasters. Major roads and interstates flooded. Heavy rainfall on May 30th allowed streams and rivers to rise.
- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Indiana, May 30 to 31, 2004On 30 May 2004, a warm front was draped across far southern portions of Indiana in the morning, as part of an unseasonably strong cyclone centered in Minnesota.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Indiana, February 4 to 9, 2008Heavy rain fell onto saturated and frozen ground across northwest Indiana which produced flash flooding on February 4th and 5th. Flooding then continued for several days.
- Flash Flooding and Hail in Indiana, May 25, 2006Tree limbs were blown down. The spotter estimated a 60 mph gust.
- Flash Flooding in Indiana, July 5, 2003Heavy thunderstorms trained across the northern third of the Indianapolis forecast area with parts of Carroll and Howard counties getting as much as 8 to 10 inches of rain in less than 12 hours.
- Flash Flood and Flooding in Indiana, August 23 to 25, 2007Powerful, severe storms moved across northwest Indiana during the afternoon and evening hours of August 23rd.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Indiana, September 14 to 17, 2008The remnants of hurricane Ike moved across northwest Indiana during the morning hours of September 14th. This system produced a second round of very heavy rain after a period of heavy rain just 24 hours earlier across many of the same areas.
- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Indiana, May 24 to 25, 2011The approach of a strong low pressure system from the west set the stage for a significant severe weather outbreak across central Indiana on May 25th. Eight tornadoes touched down in central Indiana, with an additional one moving into the area from southern Indiana.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Indiana, January 8 to 11, 2008An unseasonable moist atmosphere and slow moving cold front set the stage for the training of rain and thunderstorms across much of northern Indiana.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Indiana, April 4 to 6, 2025The final round of rain in a stretch of 4 days brought rain amounts of 2-4.5 inches of rain to central Indiana in addition to the 3-5 inches that had fallen.

Severe storms formed in advance of a cold front that moved through later at night. These storms contained hail and damaging thunderstorm winds.
- Flash Flooding and Damaging Winds in Indiana, July 19 to 20, 1998A fast moving Mesoscale Convective System with numerous bow echo segments caused wind damage early in the event. However, the thunderstorms began to repeat across the same areas causing flooding.
- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Indiana, March 31, 2023Thunderstorms developing in the evening of March 31 resulted in multiple weather hazards. Hail nearly 2 inches in diameter was observed, trees were downed from thunderstorm wind, and flooding occurred from heavy rain rates.

- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Indiana, June 26 to 27, 2015The last widespread rains of the month were the result of a developing low pressure area that moved through the state on the 26th and early on the 27th. Numerous flooding problems developed quickly across mainly northern sections of central Indiana.

- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Indiana, April 2 to 3, 2025A strong low pressure system generated a line of strong to severe thunderstorms that started in Illinois and moved across central Indiana. Multiple severe storms were embedded within the line and some of these produced tornadoes.

- Tornadoes and Flash Flood in Indiana, July 30, 2024A particularly explosive storm environment developed on the afternoon of the 30th. MLCAPE values rose to 3500 J/kg, 0-3 km CAPE of 100-150 J/kg, effective bulk shear of 40 kts, and 0-3 km shear of 20-30 kts.
