- Freezing Fog in Indiana, January 18 to 19, 2010Dense freezing fog occurred over southwest Indiana as a result of high pressure extending from the upper Mississippi Valley to the central Gulf coast. Light winds, high humidity, and areas of clear sky associated with this high caused dense fog to form.
- Freezing Fog in Indiana, January 9, 2025Calming winds and clearing skies allowed for freezing fog development in portions of Southwest Indiana north/east of Evansville during the early morning hours of the 9th.
- Freezing Fog in Indiana, December 4 to 5, 2023Widespread dense freezing fog reduced visibility to one-quarter mile or less in portions of Southwest Indiana near the Ohio River. Fog development occurred in an area of clear skies and calm winds ahead of a cold frontal passage.
