- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Indiana, January 12 to 13, 2012Snow and blowing snow impacted much of northern Indiana late January 12th into January 13th as a low pressure system deepened northward towards Lake Huron.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Indiana, January 7, 2010Strong upper level low pressure continued to strengthen as it moved toward and into Indiana from the west on the morning of January 7th.
- Blizzard and Winter Storm in Indiana, December 22 to 24, 2022A long duration winter storm affected all of northern Indiana with multiple hazards across including heavy snow, blowing snow, strong winds, whiteouts, and dangerous wind chills. Blizzard conditions were experienced across portions of northwest and north central Indiana.
- Blizzard and Winter Storm in Indiana, February 13 to 14, 2007A powerful winter storm blanketed all of northern Indiana with heavy snow and strong winds. This caused widespread whiteout conditions across the area with many roads becoming impassable due to drifting snowfall.
- Winter Storm in Indiana, January 1 to 2, 2008Another strong cold front, accompanied by developing low pressure, resulted in snow across much northern Indiana.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Indiana, January 28 to 29, 2019A strong Alberta Clipper brought heavy snow and gusty winds to Lower Michigan January 28th into early January 29th. Snow accumulations generally ranged between 3 and 8 inches.
- Winter Storm in Indiana, January 1 to 2, 2008Light snow began during the mid evening hours on New Years Eve of 2007. However, significant travel problems and accumulations did not begin until shortly after midnight of New Years Day. Heavy snow fell across portions of northern Indiana.
- Winter Storm and Extreme Cold in Indiana, December 22 to 24, 2022An arctic cold front crossed Indiana from west to east during the early afternoon to early evening of the 22nd, as an area of low pressure deepened along this passing boundary.
- Ice Storm and Winter Storm in Indiana, February 1 to 2, 2011A powerful winter storm moved across the United States, bringing severe winter weather to central Indiana from January 31 through February 2. Freezing rain, sleet, snow, strong winds, and arctic air impacted the state.
- Winter Storm in Indiana, December 15 to 16, 2010Under fairly zonal flow aloft, an inverted surface trough pushed toward the Ohio River Valley from the southwest.
- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in Indiana, January 30 to 31, 2021During the late afternoon and evening hours of Saturday January 30th, an area of rain arrived across southwest Indiana. As this initial band moved to the northeast, it would transition to snow bringing periods of heavy snow starting around 6 PM that continued through 10 PM.
- Winter Storm in Indiana, December 13 to 14, 2013Light to moderate snow developed during the evening hours of December 13th and continued into December 14th as low pressure tracked northeast through the Ohio Valley. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 9 inches were common across northern Indiana.
- Winter Storm and Extreme Cold in Indiana, December 22 to 24, 2022A powerful cold front swept through the region, with wind chills dropping to 20 to 30 below zero. These were the coldest wind chills observed in over 25 years across the region. Evansville plummeted to -30, which was the coldest since December 22, 1989.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Indiana, February 14, 2015Snow and strong winds created near blizzard conditions at times on February 14th along and behind a strong arctic front. Snow amounts generally ranged between 1 and 3 inches.
- Winter Storm in Indiana, March 4 to 5, 2008Strong low pressure tracked from Arkansas into central Ohio, bringing a swath of precipitation to all of northern Indiana. A band of heavy snow, with amounts ranging from six to ten inches, extended from Cass county Indiana northeast through Whitley and Allen counties.
- Winter Storm in Indiana, January 26 to 28, 2009A major winter storm dumped 6 to 10 inches of sleet and snow north and west of Evansville, including Pike County. In addition to the sleet and snow, up to one-half inch of ice coated objects. This resulted in very difficult driving conditions.
- Winter Storm in Indiana, January 5 to 6, 2025A major winter storm impacted the Ohio Valley on January 5-6, 2025. When all was said and done, the storm had dropped a swath of heavy snow and sleet ranging between 6 and 12 inches across southern Indiana.
- Winter Storm in Indiana, February 17, 2022A winter storm moved across northwest Indiana on February 17th producing a period of heavy snow during the afternoon and evening. Winds were gusting to 30 mph producing widespread blowing and drifting snow. Numerous traffic accidents were reported.
- Winter Storm in Indiana, January 6 to 8, 1996This massive storm system developed in the Gulf Coast and moved up the East Coast. The heaviest snow fell across Southeast Indiana where up to a foot of snow occurred near the Kentucky border. Farther north, around 6 inches fell in Wayne county.
- Winter Storm in Indiana, January 5 to 6, 2025A major winter storm impacted southwest Indiana on the 5th with a mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain.
- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in Indiana, January 24 to 25, 2026A major winter storm that brought Evansville's 2nd largest snowstorm on record impacted southwest Indiana on the 24th with light to moderate snow developing around midday.
- Winter Storm in Indiana, December 22, 2004A surface and upper level low pressure center tracked northeast across the Ohio Valley on Wednesday, December 22nd and exited the region on the 23rd. A swath of heavy snow cut through southeast Indiana and into the Miami Valley of Ohio.
- Winter Storm in Indiana, January 2 to 3, 1996Low pressure strengthening in the Tennessee Valley passed southeast of Indiana. The heaviest snow fell across East Central Indiana, near Interstate 70. In this area there was up to 1 foot of snowfall, and blizzard conditions.
- Winter Storm in Indiana, February 4 to 5, 2014About one-quarter inch of ice coated trees and power lines from Evansville eastward across Warrick and Spencer Counties. The freezing rain began as a period of heavy snow and sleet, which accumulated from one to two inches across that area.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Indiana, January 26 to 28, 2009This was one of the greatest snow storms of all time to strike the Indianapolis, Indiana area. Snow began late on the 26th in central and southern Indiana. Snow totals by the morning of the 27th ranged from around an inch in central Indiana to 6 inches in southern Indiana.
