- Flood and Hail in Indiana, August 13, 2011Thunderstorms developed ahead of a cold front during the afternoon and evening of August 13. As these storms moved across central Indiana, they brought damaging winds and large hail to the area.
- Flooding in Indiana, March 4 to 9, 2026During March 3 to March 7, 2026, large surface high pressure from the southeastern United States into the Atlantic focused a broad fetch of Gulf moisture northward into the Midwest.
- Tornadoes and Flooding in Indiana, June 11, 2026Severe thunderstorms moved across northwest Indiana during the afternoon and evening of June 11th producing wind damage, localized flooding and several tornadoes.

- Flooding and Hail in Indiana, April 2 to 9, 2014The heaviest and most widespread rains of the month occurred at the beginning of April. Storms from the 2nd through the 4th dumped 2 to 6 inches of rain on central and southern Indiana. Central Indiana experienced widespread areal flooding from the 3rd through the 4th.
- Flash Flood and Flooding in Indiana, August 23 to 25, 2007Powerful, severe storms moved across northwest Indiana during the afternoon and evening hours of August 23rd.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Indiana, September 14 to 17, 2008The remnants of hurricane Ike moved across northwest Indiana during the morning hours of September 14th. This system produced a second round of very heavy rain after a period of heavy rain just 24 hours earlier across many of the same areas.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Indiana, January 8 to 11, 2008An unseasonable moist atmosphere and slow moving cold front set the stage for the training of rain and thunderstorms across much of northern Indiana.

Numerous flooding problems developed quickly across mainly northern sections of central Indiana.

- Flooding in Indiana, April 19 to 20, 2013Local news media reported numerous water rescues of motorists, evacuations of homes, and school closings or delays on the 19th in west central and north central Indiana.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Indiana, January 21 to 23, 1999Heavy rainfall caused numerous roads to be damaged or washed out.
- Flooding in Indiana, January 3 to 31, 2005All of the snow cover from the historic pre-Christmas 2004 snow storm melted by New Year's Day 2005 as the dew point temperatures rose into the 50s. Lowland flooding occurred along the East Fork White River in Jackson County.
- Flooding in Indiana, January 22 to 31, 1999During the evening of the 22nd an automobile containing a mother and her 9 year-old son was swept into Grassy Fork Creek in southwestern Grant County. They were not able to escape from the car and drowned.
- Flooding in Indiana, July 5 to 14, 2003Flash flooding and record river flooding occurred over the southern sections of the Northern Indiana County Warning Area starting July 4th and 5th with river flooding abating by July 14th.

- Tornadoes and Flash Flood in Indiana, July 10 to 12, 2017Synoptic quasi-stationary boundary was located across the forecast area, initially across northern parts during the morning and then sagging south as an upper level wave moved into the region during the late afternoon and evening hours.

- Tornado and Flash Flooding in Indiana, June 4, 2008Heavy rain caused dangerous flash flooding and flooding across many locations in central Indiana. A weak tornado also touched down in Greene County.
- Flash Flooding and Flood in Indiana, July 13 to 14, 2015A series of upper level disturbances moved from the Upper Midwest into the lower Ohio Valley and interacted with a moist, warm and unstable atmosphere. Strong to severe thunderstorms developed and then organized into bowing segments across the area.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Indiana, December 21 to 23, 2013A front stalled out just southeast of central Indiana on December 20-21. Waves of low pressure rode along the front, generating rain across the area. With tropical moisture moving into the system, heavy rain occurred across parts of central Indiana.
