- Flash Flooding and Lightning Strike in Indiana, June 6 to 7, 2008Massive and historic flash flooding struck central Indiana. The Great Flood of June 2008 was one of Indiana's costliest natural disasters. Major roads and interstates flooded. Heavy rainfall on May 30th allowed streams and rivers to rise.
- Hail and Damaging Winds in Indiana, June 26, 2008Severe thunderstorms produced hail and wind damage across central Indiana from mid-afternoon through early evening.
- Hail and Damaging Winds in Indiana, May 9, 2014A major macroburst with winds over 100 mph at times caused extensive damage in the Evansville area. Thunderstorms intensified and evolved into a bowing structure that spread east across southwest Indiana.
- Lightning Strike and Heavy Rain in Indiana, June 11, 2009Widespread showers and thunderstorms moved from west to east across the region, producing moderate to heavy rainfall during the early morning hours. Areal Flood Warnings were issued for a number of counties in Central Indiana.
- Flash Flooding and Hail in Indiana, June 22, 2006A series of severe thunderstorms pounded central Indiana on 23 June 2006, continuing a period of active weather for the area. Widespread wind damage and large hail occurred, with isolated areas of flash flooding caused by extremely heavy rain.
- Hail and Damaging Winds in Indiana, June 6, 2008Severe thunderstorms moved rapidly eastward from central Illinois into Indiana producing dozens of severe weather reports throughout a large section of central and southern Indiana.
- Tornadoes and Hail in Indiana, April 7, 2015A mesoscale convective system moved east-southeast from southern Illinois into southwest Indiana. The complex transitioned from a continuous line of storms to a more discrete storm mode, with two distinct supercells.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Indiana, May 25 to 26, 2004Widespread flash flooding occurred across northern Warrick and Spencer Counties. In northern Spencer County, numerous roads were closed by flooding, and some persons were rescued from stalled vehicles. About eight inches of water was over U.S. Highway 231 in Gentryville.
- Tornadoes and Flood in Indiana, July 27 to 29, 2023Storms developed along a stalled frontal boundary on the evening of July 28th. These storms developed in clusters and were slow moving with heavy rain. They also produced sporadic wind damage across northwest Indiana. An EF0 tornado also occurred in Cass County.
- Tornado and Damaging Winds in Indiana, June 26, 2013A persistent cluster of thunderstorms intensified as it moved into a moist and very unstable air mass over southwest Indiana. The storms were supported by mid-level forcing associated with a weak disturbance, along with a low-level inflow of warmer air from the southwest.
- Flooding and Hail in Indiana, June 14, 2010A line of severe storms moved across Central Indiana on the afternoon and evening of June 14th bringing damaging thunderstorm winds and heavy rain to the region. The line of storms produced winds near 75 mph in some locations.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Indiana, April 3 to 4, 2014Thunderstorms intensified within a zone of strong southerly low level winds that provided abundant warmth and moisture. The storms formed near a warm front that was draped across southern Illinois and western Kentucky.
- Hail and Damaging Winds in Indiana, September 7, 2012Damaging winds were the primary type of severe weather as an extensive squall line crossed southwest Indiana. Thunderstorms were organized into bowing line segments that produced damaging winds as they moved rapidly east at 50 to 60 mph.
- Flash Flooding and Damaging Winds in Indiana, May 12, 2010Widespread area of showers and embedded thunderstorms pushed eastward across central and southern Indiana during the morning hours of May the 12th. Heavy rainfall, flash flooding, and thunderstorm wind damage were all noted as this activity moved across the forecast area.
- Damaging Winds and Lightning Strike in Indiana, August 11, 2010Scattered thunderstorms developed across the northern half of Indiana, as well as over portions of East-Central Illinois during the morning hours of August the 11th.
- Flood and Hail in Indiana, June 18 to 19, 2010A couple bow echoes pushed into Central Indiana from the northwest during the evening of the 18th into the early hours on the 19th of June.
- Flash Flooding and Damaging Winds in Indiana, July 17, 2010Showers and thunderstorms developed across western and southern portions of Central Indiana during the late afternoon and evening of July 17th. One of these storms pushed south into Tippecanoe County and produced much wind damage in portions of Lafayette and West Lafayette.
- Winter Storm and Heavy Rain in Indiana, February 20 to 21, 2015A winter storm brought hazardous conditions to southwest Indiana. The precipitation type was primarily freezing rain. Some sleet and snow was reported at the onset. Around one-quarter inch of ice glazed trees and power lines, on top of one-quarter to one-half inch of sleet.
- Hail and Damaging Winds in Indiana, July 18, 2006A 100 foot by 30 foot section of a flat roof at the AJ Wright Factory collapsed as a result of torrential rainfall. The building was unoccupied at the time. Work was suspended that day as a result of the damages.
- Hail and Damaging Winds in Indiana, August 16, 2007Hail and damaging thunderstorm winds moved across central Indiana throughout the day of August 16, 2007. Heavy rain also accompanied the severe storms.
- Flash Flood and Flooding in Indiana, February 11 to 26, 2009Despite significant snowfall during the first week of month, followed by warm temperatures that melted all the snow cover, flooding was not a problem until the 11th. Rain of 1/2 to 3 1/2 inches fell in east central Illinois and much of Indiana on this day.
- Tornado and Flash Flooding in Indiana, September 20, 2009A mid level trough over moving over the Ohio Valley brought heavy rainfall and a few strong thunderstorms, one of which produced a weak tornado, to southern Indiana. Anywhere from three to five inches of rain fell over several hours.
- Hail and Damaging Winds in Indiana, May 13, 200512 large trees uprooted. Large branches fell onto house, causing damage. New 2 car garage, with garage doors open, was destroyed. A machine shed with its doors open and a storage shed were both destroyed.
- Damaging Winds and Heavy Rain in Indiana, July 19, 2010A bowing line of storms pushed out of East-Central Illinois into West-Central Indiana during the late afternoon and early evening hours of July 19th. This line of storms brought damaging winds, some in excess of 70 mph, to western portions of Central Indiana.
- Flash Flooding and Damaging Wind in Indiana, July 12, 2011Clusters of thunderstorms drifted east-southeast across southwest Indiana. A hot and very moist air mass fed north-northeastward into these storms, maintaining a feed of instability. The storms produced torrential rainfall and an isolated microburst.
