- Frost and Freeze in Nebraska, April 3 to 8, 2007A late in the season artic airmass moved over the Central Plains at the beginning of April. Overnight temperatures in the period dropped into the teens and 20s. The coldest nights were on the 7th and 8th.
- Frost and Freeze in Nebraska, October 12, 2006A strong cold front pushed into the area and brought the first freezing temperatures of the fall season to south-central Nebraska. Overnight temperatures fell into the 20s and low 30s. Readings ranged from 21 degrees at Hebron to 31 at Holdrege. Ord bottomed out at 23.
- Frost and Freeze in Nebraska, May 10, 2020Cold surface high pressure settled over western and north central Nebraska during the early morning and morning hours on May 10th. This caused freezing temperatures in the 20s across much of the area. The coldest temperatures was 21 degrees at Gordon airport.
