- Winter Storm and High Wind in Rhode Island, December 9, 2005A low pressure system centered near the Delaware coast intensified rapidly as it tracked quickly northeast across southern New England, producing near-blizzard conditions across Rhode Island around mid afternoon.
- Winter Storm in Rhode Island, March 6, 2003A fast moving winter storm passing south of New England brought heavy snow to Rhode Island, where totals of 6 to 10 inches were common.
- Blizzard and Winter Storm in Rhode Island, February 12, 2006Low pressure centered off the Virginia coast intensified into a strong Noreaster as it tracked about 75 miles southeast of Nantucket Sunday afternoon, 12 February 2006. This strong Noreaster produced heavy snow and windy conditions across Rhode Island.

- Winter Storm in Rhode Island, February 9, 2017Coastal low pressure developed off the Mid Atlantic coast and passed southeast of New England bringing strong winds and heavy snow.
- Blizzard and Winter Storm in Rhode Island, January 4 to 5, 2018Low pressure moved north from the Florida coast and deepened, passing southeast of Nantucket on Thursday January 4. The storm reached its lowest pressure and strongest pressure gradient as it passed Southern New England.
- Blizzard and Winter Storm in Rhode Island, January 28 to 29, 2022Explosive cyclogenesis of a low pressure center off the Mid Atlantic coast brought a strong winter storm with blizzard conditions to all of southern New England Saturday and Saturday night.

- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in Rhode Island, January 12, 2011A developing nor'easter coastal storm dumped nearly two feet of snow across portions of Rhode Island in a 24 hour period. This was the second major storm of an above average winter of snowfall.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Rhode Island, January 29 to 30, 2018A coastal storm passed offshore of Nantucket on January 30, while a surge of colder air moved in from the Great Lakes. This brought several inches of snow to Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island during the night of the 29th and the day of the 30th.
- Blizzard and Winter Storm in Rhode Island, March 3 to 4, 2019A storm the developed over the southern states moved up the coast the night of the 3rd and passed offshore of Nantucket the morning of the 4th. The storm then moved off to the northeast. This brought heavy snow to much of Southern New England.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Rhode Island, December 9 to 10, 2017Low pressure from the Gulf of Mexico moved up the USA East Coast spreading snow and rain across Southern New England during the 9th. The storm moved off through the Maritimes during the night of the 9th.
- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in Rhode Island, November 15 to 16, 2018An early-season nor'easter moved from the Mid-Atlantic coast to southeastern Massachusetts on the 15th and away from the region on the 16th.
- Winter Storm in Rhode Island, March 16 to 17, 2007Low pressure over the Carolinas strengthened as it tracked over southeast Massachusetts and Cape Cod Bay.
- Winter Storm in Rhode Island, February 10 to 11, 2010A surface low pressure system moved up the east coast from the mid-Atlantic states (coastal storm), passing just southeast of Nantucket.
- Winter Storm in Rhode Island, February 1 to 2, 2011A series of low pressure centers impacted the Southern New England Region with a combination of heavy snows and ice.
- Winter Storm in Rhode Island, March 10, 2017A cold front moving through New England on March 9 brought colder air to Rhode Island. Low pressure moved up along the cold front on March 10 and passed south of the region, but close enough to bring snow especially on the South Coast.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Rhode Island, March 7 to 8, 2018A coastal storm moved up from the Carolinas, bringing snow and rain to Southern New England on March 7th and 8th. This was primarily a snow event in Northwest Rhode Island, but with 1 to 3 inches of rain falling on Central and Southern Rhode Island.
