- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in Pennsylvania, October 29, 2011An unprecedented winter storm for late October not only dropped heavy snow across most of Eastern Pennsylvania, but caused widespread power outages and road closures as many deciduous trees still had foliage.

- Winter Storm in Pennsylvania, February 9 to 11, 2010For the second time within a week a major winter storm affected Eastern Pennsylvania on the 10th and 11th and smashed seasonal snowfall records in the Philadelphia area. Snowfall averaged one to two feet with some locally higher amounts in the Philadelphia northwest suburbs.
- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in Pennsylvania, February 16 to 17, 2003The most powerful storm to affect Eastern Pennsylvania since the Blizzard of 1996 struck during the President's Day Weekend. Snow began falling around daybreak on Sunday the 16th in and around Philadelphia and then spread slowly north. It reached Reading around 9 a.m.

The wintry conditions led to numerous accidents including a fatal one in Carbon County.
- Winter Storm in Pennsylvania, January 27 to 28, 2009A frontal boundary was draped from the southern Mid Atlantic region southwestward to the northern Gulf of Mexico. An area of low pressure developed along this front across the lower Mississippi Valley late in the day on the 27th.
- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in Pennsylvania, March 16 to 17, 2007A nor'easter caused heavy sleet to fall across the greater Philadelphia Metropolitan Area, heavy snow and sleet to fall across Berks County and the Lehigh Valley and heavy snow in the Poconos on the 16th into the early morning of the 17th.

- Winter Storm and High Wind in Pennsylvania, March 2, 2018A cold front stalled across the region on March 1st. Meanwhile, a wave of low pressure developed along this front in the Ohio Valley and move eastward, explosively deepening just southeast of Long Island on March 2nd.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Pennsylvania, December 2 to 3, 2007A wintry mix of precipitation fell across eastern Pennsylvania from the early morning of the 2nd through the early morning of the 3rd.
- Ice Storm and Winter Storm in Pennsylvania, December 19 to 20, 2008A winter storm affected most of Eastern Pennsylvania on the 19th. Mainly ice fell in the Philadelphia northern suburbs, a wintry mix fell in Berks County and the Lehigh Valley and mainly snow fell in the Poconos.

- Winter Storm in Pennsylvania, December 15 to 16, 2007A strong area of high pressure was anchored over southeastern Canada on December 15th. This high gradually moved eastward during the day, however it wedged itself down into the Mid Atlantic region, which is known as cold air damming.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Pennsylvania, December 8 to 9, 2013A complex low pressure system tracked across the Great Lakes during the 8th and the 9th, allowing an associated frontal boundary to move over the northern Mid Atlantic Region on the 8th, with a secondary area of low pressure forming off the Mid Atlantic coast.
- Ice Storm and Winter Storm in Pennsylvania, December 13, 2007A cold front moved through the region on December 12th. Behind this front, high pressure settled into northern New England providing colder air into the region. An area of low pressure then developed along the aforementioned front across the Tennessee Valley.
