- Ice Storm and Winter Storm in Louisiana, February 12 to 17, 2021The first in a series of Arctic Cold Fronts arrived during the 12th pushing tide levels down along the coast, however the subfreezing temperatures and winter weather did not arrive until the 14th.
- Winter Storm in Louisiana, January 9, 2011A significant winter storm affected the northern half of Northwest and North Central Louisiana on Sunday, January 9th.
- Ice Storm and Winter Storm in Louisiana, January 23 to 24, 2014A cold air mass plunged south to the gulf coast while an upper level disturbance moved across the region. Rain, snow, and sleet moved into the region during the late afternoon of the 23rd and gradually turned to all snow across Central Louisiana.

- Winter Storm in Louisiana, January 1, 2001The first snow seen in five years resulted in one inch of snow across central Louisiana, from Leesville to Alexandria. Four people were injured in Alexandria when the vehicle they were driving flipped over after hitting a patch of ice.
- Winter Storm in Louisiana, January 15, 2013A strong cold front moved through Northwest Louisiana during the evening hours of January 13th and the predawn hours of January 14th. Rain and a few storms accompanied the passage of this cold front across the northern half of the state.
