- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in South Carolina, January 3, 2018A developing surface low pressure system offshore and an amplifying upper level trough approaching from the west combined with unusually cold air to produce widespread significant winter precipitation across southeast South Carolina.
- Winter Storm in South Carolina, February 11 to 13, 2014Low pressure formed along a nearly stationary frontal boundary over northern Florida on February 11th, with a strong and large area of high pressure to the north.
- Winter Storm and Extreme Cold in South Carolina, January 10 to 13, 2011A low pressure system moved through the Gulf of Mexico and across northern Florida producing snow, sleet and freezing rain across the southeast U.S.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in South Carolina, February 26, 2004A mixture of freezing rain, sleet, and snow began falling over the area around 6 am. The light precipitation quickly changed to snow showers, falling heavily at times, with occasional thunder reported.
- Ice Storm and Winter Storm in South Carolina, January 30, 2010A winter storm moved up the SC coast and produced snow, sleet, and freezing rain to Lancaster, Chesterfield, and Newberry counties. Freezing rain and some sleet fell in Fairfield, Kershaw, Lee, Saluda, Lexington, Richland, Sumter, and northern Clarendon counties.
- Winter Storm in South Carolina, January 28 to 29, 2014A low pressure system moved up the Georgia/South Carolina coast producing freezing rain, sleet, and snow across the area. Some trees and powerlines were down causing power outages and traveling throughout the Midlands and CSRA were quite hazardous.
- Winter Storm in South Carolina, January 7, 1996Snowfall reached accumulations of 4 to 8 inches along and north of I-85 with as much as 10 inches in the mountains of Oconee county. The snow persisted into the afternoon. Gusting winds as the snow ended contributed to some power outages in and near the mountains.
- Winter Storm in South Carolina, January 6, 1996Mixed rain, freezing rain and sleet caused a gradual buildup of ice. Snow began to fall again near the North Carolina border. Some power outages developed by late evening especially east and north of Spartanburg.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in South Carolina, January 21 to 22, 2022A cold front shifted south through the region on January 20th, allowing cool and dry air from a polar air mass to begin filtering into the region.
- Ice Storm and Winter Storm in South Carolina, January 2 to 3, 2002A major winter storm moved through the CSRA of Georgia and the midlands of South Carolina. Ice accumulations mainly occurred in the eastern thirds of the CWA with mainly snow over the remainder of the CWA.

The storm continued into Tuesday, but was mainly freezing drizzle during that time.
- Winter Storm in South Carolina, February 12 to 13, 2010A low pressure system tracked acros Northern Florida which produced heavy snow on the north side of the storm system. Snow fell from the Florida panhandle northeast to Virginia. Amounts in central South Carolina ranged from 4-10 inches.
- Ice Storm and Winter Storm in South Carolina, February 12 to 13, 2014A major winter storm spread into South Carolina producing up to 1.25 inches of ice taking down trees, powerlines, and causing damage to other structures.
- Winter Storm in South Carolina, December 26, 2010A low pressure system moved through the Gulf of Mexico then up the east coast bringing snow to much of the Midlands of South Carolina. Amounts ranged from less than an inch in the lower Midlands to around 5 inches in the northern Midlands.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in South Carolina, January 29 to 30, 2010Precipitation began as light snow early in the evening across northern portions of the Upstate. By late evening, snow had mostly changed to sleet, except in areas along the North Carolina border.

The associated surface low pressure and warm advection caused a brief band of heavy snow, sleet, and freezing rain to develop in the Central Savannah River Area and southern Midlands.

- Ice Storm and Winter Storm in South Carolina, January 16, 2022A cool surface high pressure air mass was centered over Eastern Canada and New England, directing cool low level air down the Eastern Seaboard, and into the Carolinas and Georgia. A strong upper level low, and associated surface low, moved east across our region.
