- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in Tennessee, January 14 to 16, 2024A major snowstorm powered by strong upper level dynamics and widespread preexisting low level cold produced heavy snowfall across East Tennessee.
- Ice Storm and Winter Storm in Tennessee, January 24 to 27, 2026A major winter storm system impacted the State of Tennessee starting late Friday, January 23 and continuing into Sunday, January 25, 2026. Cold air moved into Tennessee Friday evening, setting the stage for winter weather through the weekend.

The highest peaks had up to 6 inches of snow while ice accumulations had up to an inch. In addition, cold weather accounted for 3 deaths.

- Winter Storm in Tennessee, January 27 to 28, 1998Heavy snow fell throughout most of northeast Tennessee. Most snowfall totals ranged from 5 to 10 inches. However, in the high mountain elevations of Johnson, Carter, Greene, Cocke, Sevier and Blount counties, as much as 2-3 feet of snow fell.
- Ice Storm and Winter Storm in Tennessee, February 3 to 4, 2022An arctic front slowly pushed across the Mid-South on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. This front edged south into northeast Mississippi by 12 am Thursday, February 3, 2022, and then stalled.
- Winter Storm in Tennessee, December 23 to 24, 1998Newspaper accounts reported trecherous driving conditions across Franklin county. 1/2 to 3/4 inch of ice was observed at 105 PM on December 24 and there was one injury. In Fentress county, 40 percent of the county was without power and numerous trees were down.
- Winter Storm in Tennessee, January 29 to 30, 2010The Mid-South had a favorable set-up for winter weather during the time frame of January 28th-January 30th, 2010. A cold front moved through the area on January 27th allowing cold arctic air to filter into the region behind the front.

Snow spread across the Mid-South during the afternoon hours on January 14th as an upper jet intensified across the region in advance of a potent upper trough.
- Ice Storm and Winter Storm in Tennessee, February 23 to 24, 2022A cold front sagged southward through the Mid-South on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, eventually stalling across central Mississippi by Wednesday, February 23, 2022. Cold air gradually deepened across northern sections of the Mid-South.
- Winter Storm in Tennessee, February 14 to 15, 2021An Arctic airmass spread across Middle Tennessee from Thursday February 11 through Sunday February 14, 2021, bringing very cold temperatures in the teens and 20s along with lengthy periods of freezing drizzle.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Tennessee, December 25 to 26, 2012A powerful upper level low pressure system tracked across the Mid-South into the Ohio Valley the night of December 25th, 2012 into the morning of December 26th, 2012. The system brought snow and gusty winds to much of West Tennessee.
- Winter Storm in Tennessee, December 15 to 16, 2008A strong cold front pushed into extreme Northwest Tennessee during the early morning hours of December 15th, 2008. Very shallow arctic air filtered into the region behind the front. Rain changed over to freezing rain and sleet.
- Winter Storm in Tennessee, January 29, 2010A mixture of sleet and snow began Friday night and continued through the day on Saturday. Between 1 and 5 inches of sleet and snow accumulation ocurred from this system in Lincoln and Moore counties, with the highest totals in the northern portion of these counties.
- Winter Storm in Tennessee, March 5, 2015A strong Arctic cold front pushed southeast through the region during the late afternoon and early evening hours on the 3rd, dropping temperatures from the upper 60s and lower 70s into the upper 20s to lower 30s by the morning of the 4th.
- Winter Storm in Tennessee, February 16, 2015A major winter storm affected Middle Tennessee through much of the day on February 16, with a wintry mix of freezing rain, sleet, and snow. Freezing rain and sleet predominated along and south of I-40, with a mix of sleet and snow north of I-40.
- Winter Storm in Tennessee, January 15 to 16, 1998A winter storm brought a mix of freezing rain, sleet and snow to much of southwest Tennessee. Numerous trees, power lines and phone lines were brought down by the freezing rain and sleet leaving more than 75,000 homes without power.

- Winter Storm in Tennessee, December 22 to 23, 2004A mix of snow and ice, caused by snow, sleet and freezing rain, accumulated around 1 to 2 inches with the most, 3 inches across Houston County. In Humphreys County, a portion of Interstate 40 was closed across the Tennessee River bridge for a while due to icy conditions.
