- Winter Storm in Missouri, November 29 to 30, 2006A major winter storm hit Central, Northeast, East Central and parts of Southeast Missouri from November 30 through Dcember 1. Over a foot of snow fell across parts of Central Missouri while a major ice storm hit parts of East Central and Southeast Missouri, including the St.
- Blizzard and Winter Storm in Missouri, February 1, 2011A major winter storm brought heavy wintry precipitation to the Missouri Ozarks and southeast Kansas on February 1, 2011.
- Winter Storm in Missouri, January 26 to 28, 2009This prolonged, major winter storm was termed the worst in decades for southeast Missouri. The storm dumped 6 to 10 inches of sleet and snow along and north of a line from Van Buren through Greenville to Cape Girardeau.
- Winter Storm in Missouri, January 11 to 12, 2019Light rain changed over to light snow by the mid afternoon on Friday January 11. After several hours of not accumulating due to warm surface temperatures snow began to pile up shortly after sunset.
- Winter Storm in Missouri, January 12 to 14, 2007A prolonged winter storm event occurred from January 12th through January 14th. An upper level storm system moved slowly across the region at this time. Shallow arctic air in place at the surface, was overrun by moist southerly winds.
- Winter Storm and Extreme Cold in Missouri, December 22 to 24, 2022A storm system initially brought one to two hours of freezing drizzle during the early morning hours of December 22nd before precipitation changed over to light snow.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Missouri, January 29 to 30, 2023A storm system brought a prolonged 24 to 30 hour period of freezing drizzle across the area, beginning during the early overnight hours of January 29th and continuing throughout the day on January 29th before ending in the early morning hours of January 30th.
- Winter Storm in Missouri, December 8, 2005The first significant winter storm of the season hit the area dropping from 2 to around 6 inches of snow. Most of Central Missouri picked up about 2 inches, East Central and Southeast Missouri saw 2 - 4 inches, and Northeast Missouri received from 2 to near 6 inches.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Missouri, January 25, 2021On the morning of January 25, 2021 light to moderate snow moved into northern Missouri. Widespread amounts were around 6 inches, but some areas across far northern Missouri reached the 8 to 12 inch range.
- Winter Storm in Missouri, December 15 to 16, 2008The first winter storm of the season brought widespread sleet and freezing rain. Up to one quarter inch of ice coated roadways during the evening commute. Sleet accumulations were generally an inch or less. Numerous accidents and slide-offs occurred.
- Winter Storm in Missouri, February 1 to 4, 2022A storm system brought several rounds of wintry precipitation to southern Missouri. Rain began falling late in the evening on February 1 and then changed to a period of sleet freezing and then over to all snow during the early morning hours of February 2.
- Winter Storm in Missouri, November 30, 2006A major winter storm caused a combination of freezing rain, sleet, and heavy snow to fall over sections of southwest and central Missouri.
- Ice Storm and Winter Storm in Missouri, January 30 to 31, 2002A long-lived major ice and snow storm blasted much of northwest, northern and central Missouri from late Tuesday, January 29th, until Thursday, January 31st.
- Ice Storm and Winter Storm in Missouri, December 21 to 22, 2013Early on the morning of Saturday, December 21, 2013 an area of light to moderate rain moved northward into eastern Kansas and western Missouri. At the time of the rain surface temperatures were in the middle to upper 20s.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Missouri, December 15 to 17, 2019Early in the morning on December 15, 2019 light snow began falling, and increased intensity through the day. While this event was a pretty run of the mill winter storm, it did produce 6 to 8 inches across much of the area.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Missouri, December 29 to 30, 2020A strong system ejected eastward into the central part of the country just after Christmas. Precipitation started out as snow, but as warm air aloft moved in it switched over to liquid rain, freezing on contact with all sub-freezing surfaces at ground level.
- Winter Storm in Missouri, January 10 to 11, 2020A mid season winter storm moved through the area bringing nearly every precipitation type with it. This storm produced around a quarter to half inch of ice and several inches of snow area-wide.
- Winter Storm in Missouri, December 1, 2006A major winter storm hit Central, Northeast, East Central and parts of Southeast Missouri from November 30 through Dcember 1. Over a foot of snow fell across parts of Central Missouri while a major ice storm hit parts of East Central and Southeast Missouri, including the St.
- Winter Storm in Missouri, March 1, 2009A strong upper level low pressure system moved through Arkansas during the night of February 28th, 2009. The upper level low produced bands of snow across the Missouri Bootheel during the evening hours which continued into the early morning hours of March 1st, 2009.
- Winter Storm in Missouri, February 11 to 12, 2008Low pressure developed over the southern Plains, spreading widespread heavy precipitation across southeast Missouri. At the same time, high pressure over the upper Ohio Valley produced a cold easterly wind flow. The result was a crippling ice storm.
- Winter Storm in Missouri, January 1 to 2, 1999Winter Storm Highlights:* At one point late on the 1st and early on the 2nd, the Barton County Electrical Cooperative lost power to 4500 members out of a 5800 member system.

- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Missouri, January 1, 2021A storm system lifted northward through Arkansas and into Missouri from New Years Eve into New Years Day. Freezing rain spread into southeast Kansas and southern and central Missouri during the evening hours of Thursday, December 31.
- Winter Storm and Extreme Cold in Missouri, February 14 to 16, 2021An extended period of unseasonably cold weather gripped central and southwest Missouri between February 7 and February 18. The coldest temperatures and wind chills occurred from February 14 through February 16.
- Winter Storm in Missouri, January 5, 2014A very strong winter storm dropped 6 - 12 inches of snow across East Central Missouri. Strong northerly winds produced snow drifts of 2 to 5 feet.
