- Tornadoes and Hail in Illinois, June 4, 2008Scattered thunderstorms developed during the evening hours of the 4th. Two weak tornadoes developed from a couple of these storms. One of the storms also produced severe hail.

- Hail and Damaging Winds in Wisconsin, June 5, 2008An amplifying strong short-wave trough over western U.S. resulted in strong low level jet that night which carried a warm and very moist air mass into southern Wisconsin. The resultant storms constituted the 1st day of 4 straight days with severe storms over southern Wisconsin.

In the evening, southerly winds ahead of the low pressure system which helped trigger the thunderstorms reached damaging levels.

- Lightning Strike in South Dakota, June 5, 2008Lightning struck a barn northeast of Pierre and started it on fire. The barn burned to the ground as twenty-five firefighters battled the blaze from the early afternoon into the evening hours. The fire also destroyed a four-wheeler and two trailers.

A dry line extending from this low, which was centered over western Kansas much of the day, translated into western Oklahoma during the afternoon.
- Tornado and Flash Flood in Kansas, June 5 to 6, 2008A complex storm system, brought severe thunderstorms with an isolated tornado, high winds, and hail, to the area on June 5, 2008.
- Damaging Wind in New York, June 5, 2008Thunderstorms developed along a Lake Ontario breeze during the late evening hours. One storm produced an isolated downburst which tore the roof off a building in Rochester in Monroe county.
- Damaging Winds in Kansas, June 5 to 6, 2008Severe thunderstorms impacted sections of extreme southeast Kansas during the overnight hours of 5 June into the evening of 6 June. Mainly wind damage occurred along with several funnel clouds observed across Cherokee County.

- Flash Flooding and Lightning Strike in Indiana, June 6 to 7, 2008Massive and historic flash flooding struck central Indiana. The Great Flood of June 2008 was one of Indiana's costliest natural disasters. Major roads and interstates flooded. Heavy rainfall on May 30th allowed streams and rivers to rise.
- Hail and Lightning Strike in New York, June 6, 2008A warm front slowly approached the region from the southwest early Friday morning on June 6th. Several clusters of thunderstorms developed on the cool side of this boundary during the morning hours.
- Tornadoes and Damaging Wind in Minnesota, June 6, 2008A vertically stacked cold-core low pressure system moved into the Red River Valley and brought ideal conditions for low topped mini supercells. A negatively tilted 500 mb trough, diffluent height field, and a strong upper level disturbance were all present.
- Tornado and Hail in Wisconsin, June 6, 2008An upper-level impulse and surface trough moved through southern Wisconsin producing thunderstorms. There was sufficient instability and vertical wind shear to product a number of funnel clouds and one tornado on top of many large hail and damaging thunderstorm winds.

With temperature climbing into the lower 90s during the afternoon, the airmass became quite unstable, leading to numerous severe thunderstorms which produced damaging winds.

- Tornado and Flash Flooding in Illinois, June 6, 2008An area of strong to severe thunderstorms with very heavy rain moved across east central Illinois during the afternoon and evening hours of the 6th. Several storms produced wind damage and one storm produced a tornado that passed through the town of Lerna in Coles County.
- Hail and Damaging Winds in Florida, June 6, 2008High pressure was ridging across the region with the ridge axis across northern Florida. This kept east to southeasterly flow in place across the area allowing a weak sea breeze to develop right along the Gulf coast.

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms developed along the front from the late afternoon into the early morning hours of the 14th. Precipitation was concentrated across the western half of Arkansas.
