The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of 
  Far west-central Illinois
  Northeast and east-central Kansas
  Northern Missouri

* Effective this Thursday night and Friday morning from 855 PM
  until 300 AM CDT.

* Primary threats include...
  Scattered damaging winds and isolated significant gusts to 80
    mph likely
  Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible
  A tornado or two possible

SUMMARY...Increasingly elongated QLCS should spread east-southeast
across north-central and northeast Missouri, with shifting southeast
across from parts of eastern Kansas towards central Missouri.
Embedded bowing segments will have the potential for significant
severe gusts and a brief tornado or two.

The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 50
statute miles north and south of a line from 15 miles northeast of
Quincy IL to 40 miles west southwest of Topeka KS. For a complete
