- Lightning Strike in American Samoa, April 4, 2006Two teenagers, a 15 year-old girl and a 14 year-old boy, were at home lowering blinds of their guest house when they were both striked by lightning.
- Lightning Strike in Mississippi, April 5, 2006Lighting struck a home in the Springdale Community and caused the water heater to explode. This explosion nearly destroyed the home and injured the owner who was asleep inside.
- Damaging Winds in Maryland, April 5, 2006A fast moving upper level disturbance caused rain and snow squalls, containing thunder and lightning, to drop quickly from Pennsylvania south into central and eastern Maryland, early in the morning of April 5. Damaging wind gusts occurred in conjunction with these squalls.
- Damaging Wind in Colorado, April 5, 2006Strong winds associated with a thunderstorm gust front snapped off a 2 foot diameter tree which fell on a house and caused damage to the structure. A fence was also blown down. A gust to 55 mph (48 knots) was measured at a location 8 miles southwest of Pagosa Springs.

- Tornado in Kansas, April 6, 2006This tornado is a continuation of the Labette County tornado that tracked south of Chetopa. The tornado crossed into Cherokee County near Highway 166, and tracked to three miles south of Faulkner. Only minor damage to a few trees were observed from the storm survey.

- Tornado in Tennessee, April 7, 2006This is where the tornado struck hit the hardest in Sumner County. It entered Hendersonville from Goodlettsville at 1312 CST, and struck Gallatin at 1325 CST. An aerial survey determined this tornado had a path length of 22.75 miles from Davidson County and into Sumner County.
