- Tornadoes in Georgia, February 13 to 14, 2000A tornado destroyed several homes, and downed trees and power lines at the intersection of CR 97 and CR 262. One person was injured by flying debris. Decatur County was declared a federal disaster area. Reported by the Decatur County EMA.
- Tornadoes and Flash Flood in Georgia, January 21 to 23, 2017A multi-day severe weather event struck the southeast January 21-22, 2017 with three rounds of severe weather moving through the area.

- Tropical Storm in Georgia, September 27, 2024Tropical Storm Helene formed in the NW Caribbean Sea on September 24. Helene moved northward into the Gulf of Mexico where it strengthened into a hurricane on September 25.
- Tornadoes and Flash Flood in Georgia, April 27 to 28, 2011A highly diffluent, deep upper trough, centered across Texas, took on a negative tilt and began to rotate northeast during this period.
- Tornadoes in Georgia, March 20, 1998The tornado began in northwest Hall county and moved into southern White county. Total distance covered was about 13 miles. Aerial and ground surveys by NWS employees showed extensive damage along the path.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Georgia, September 20 to 23, 2009A historical, record, and catastrophic flood event unfolded during this period, mostly in the west central Georgia area, including the western and northwestern suburbs of Atlanta.
- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Georgia, April 12 to 13, 2020A powerful Spring storm system resulted in a Severe Weather / Tornado outbreak across much of the Southeast region, including north and central Georgia, beginning on Easter Sunday (April 12th) and lingering into the morning hours of April 13th.
- Damaging Wind in Georgia, October 5, 1995Hurricane Opal, which formed in the Gulf of Mexico, began threatening the Florida panhandle and Alabama on Tuesday October 3.

- Tornadoes and Damaging Winds in Georgia, March 1 to 2, 2007Severe thunderstorms developed during the afternoon of March 1 ahead of advancing warm front across southwest Georgia, producing several reports of wind damage.
- Hurricane and Tornado in Georgia, September 26 to 27, 2024Hurricane Helene made landfall as a Category 4 hurricane in the Big Bend region of Florida at 11 PM EDT. Helene moved quickly inland bringing wind gusts between 50 and 100 mph to portions of east and central Georgia.
- Tornadoes and Hail in Georgia, April 4 to 5, 2011An extremely progressive and highly kinematic upper flow remained in place across the U.S. A deep, full-latitude negatively tilted trough and associated strong Pacific cold front swept through the eastern U.S. April 4th into April 5th.
- Damaging Winds in Georgia, July 11, 2007A squall line with a LEWP develped just west of the state and spread east across the CSRA and Midlands producing widespread wind damage and some hail.
- Hurricane and Tornado in Georgia, September 26 to 28, 2024Hurricane Helene made landfall as a category 4 with peak winds of near 140 mph in the Florida Big |Bend just east of the Aucilla River Entrance in Taylor County, late Thursday evening September 26, |2024.
- Tornadoes and Hail in Georgia, May 10 to 12, 2008A stationary front was draped across north Georgia early on May 10th with an active northwest flow aloft. Meanwhile...a vigorous short wave aloft was approaching the area from the southern plains.
- Tornadoes in Georgia, April 9, 1998Tornado touched down in the Rye Patch Community where 3 people died (all were in mobile homes).Ten mobile homes were destroyed and two others were damaged along with a roof blown off a block house. Numerous trees were uprooted or snapped off above the ground.
- Tornado in Georgia, March 20, 2003An F2 tornado touched down near Branchville, and traveled northeast. Its path was similar to the February 14, 2000 tornado. The tornado intensified to F3 as it passed just south of Camilla, then weakened as it neared the Mitchell-Worth County line.
- Dense Fog in Georgia, February 6, 2013On the morning of the 6th, surface high pressure was beginning to build into the area, with plentiful low-level moisture in place for the formation of patchy areas of very dense fog. Visibilities across central Georgia were reduced to a quarter mile or less in several areas.
- Tornado and Damaging Winds in Georgia, June 30, 1995Thunderstorm winds blew several trees down on power lines near Georgia Highway 52.
- Winter Storm in Georgia, January 28 to 29, 2014An arctic front pushed through the Southeast on the 27th, leaving very cold air in its wake. Behind the front, an area of moisture pushed north out of the Gulf on the 28th, spreading precipitation across north and central Georgia.
- Tropical Storm in Georgia, September 26 to 27, 2024Helene first developed into a tropical storm in the northwest Caribbean Sea in the late morning of September 24, and strengthened into a hurricane near the Yucatan peninsula about 24 hours later.
