- Tornadoes and Hail in Georgia, May 10 to 12, 2008A stationary front was draped across north Georgia early on May 10th with an active northwest flow aloft. Meanwhile...a vigorous short wave aloft was approaching the area from the southern plains.
- Tornadoes and Hail in Georgia, April 4 to 5, 2011An extremely progressive and highly kinematic upper flow remained in place across the U.S. A deep, full-latitude negatively tilted trough and associated strong Pacific cold front swept through the eastern U.S. April 4th into April 5th.
- Flash Flooding and Strong Wind in Georgia, September 16 to 17, 2020A weakening Tropical Storm Sally moved into Georgia on September 16th, spreading heavy rainfall amounts and producing damaging winds in north and central Georgia.
- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Georgia, January 2, 2006The National Weather Service river gage on Crooked Creek along the Fulton/Gwinnett county line, or about 4 miles west-northwest of Norcross indicated that the river had exceeded flood stage at 8:35 AM EST and fell below flood stage at 11:45 am EST.
- High Wind and Strong Wind in Georgia, April 13, 2009Southeast winds of 50 to 60 mph developed on the back side of a departing large complex of showers and thunderstorms as it moved southeast from northwest into central Georgia.
- Strong Wind in Georgia, November 27, 2013A tragic accident occurred when a tree was blown down onto a car. Both passengers were fatally injured. Winds were sustained between 20-25 mph with gusts to 35 mph. A lake wind advisory was in effect.
- Strong Wind in Georgia, July 10 to 11, 2005Strong winds, associated with the remnants of Hurricane Dennis, affected much of west Georgia from the late evening hours on the 10th through the early morning hours of the 11th.
- Flash Flooding and Damaging Wind in Georgia, July 14, 2005The Barrow County News reported that several trees and power lines were blown down during a thunderstorm.
- Tornadoes and Winter Storm in Georgia, January 2 to 3, 2022Showers and thunderstorms affected much of the area ahead of a strong storm system and associated cold front. Some of the storms became severe with damaging winds and a few tornadoes, mainly on January 2nd.
- Hail and Damaging Winds in Georgia, March 4, 2008A strong cold front and a deep, negatively-tilted closed upper low swept through the southeast U.S. on the 4th. A pre-frontal complex of thunderstorms moved across the area during the morning hours with widespread rain and embedded thunder, but without any severe.

This occurred during the late few days of August.
- Tornadoes and Flooding in Georgia, November 15 to 16, 2006A very deep closed upper low moved through the mid and deep south resulting in a significant severe weather outbreak across the deep south and southeast. Georgia was on the eastern edge of this outbreak because much of north and central Georgia remained in a wedge of cooler air.
- Strong Wind in Georgia, February 26, 2013Early on the 26th, an area of low pressure was located in the MidSouth, with a cold front stretching south across eastern Mississippi and a warm front stretching southeast toward the Georgia/Florida border.
- Strong Wind in Georgia, November 9, 2015A strong ridge of high pressure building into the region from the northeast and a deep surface low over the northern Gulf of Mexico resulted in a tight surface pressure gradient across north Georgia on the morning of November 9th with subsequent gusty winds.
- Strong Wind in Georgia, March 12, 2018A tightening surface pressure gradient between an exiting low pressure center and a strong ridge of high pressure building into the region resulted in strong, gusty winds across north and central Georgia during the late morning and through the afternoon.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Georgia, March 1 to 2, 2009A vigorous closed upper-level low, with very cold temperatures aloft, continued to intensify as it moved rapidly southeast from the Midwest into the southeast U.S. from the evening of February 28th into the afternoon of March 1st.
- Strong Wind in Georgia, March 30, 2003Strong northwest winds of 35 to 40 mph associated with a late season winter cold front blew a large red oak tree onto a 71-year old man's car while traveling westbound on College Street. It took nearly an hour to pull the man's body from the wreckage.
- Flash Flooding and Hail in Georgia, March 27, 2005The Stewart County Emergency Management Director reported that a thunderstorm microburst tore the roof off the county's Health Department building and damaged an outdoor storage bin at the Emergency Management Director's facility.
- Tornado and Flash Flooding in Georgia, March 27 to 30, 2009A deep and intensifying upper trough was moving from the southwest U.S. into the southeast U.S. from March 27th through the 29th. Several rounds of showers and thunderstorms preceded the final passage of the upper low on the 29th.

- Tropical Storm and Flash Flood in Georgia, November 10 to 12, 2009Hurricane Ida, which formed in the Caribbean and intensified to a category two hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson scale, moved north from the Caribbean across the central Gulf of Mexico and then inland along the U.S. Gulf coast near Mobile, Alabama early on the 10th.
- High Wind and Strong Wind in Georgia, October 28 to 30, 2012As Hurricane Sandy moved north, paralleling the Eastern Seaboard, the surface pressure gradient increased across Georgia, resulting in a period of strong to high winds across the state.
