- Dense Fog in Georgia, February 6, 2013On the morning of the 6th, surface high pressure was beginning to build into the area, with plentiful low-level moisture in place for the formation of patchy areas of very dense fog. Visibilities across central Georgia were reduced to a quarter mile or less in several areas.
- Dense Fog in Georgia, February 25, 2022A multiple vehicle accident occurred on Jewel Crowe Road near Blue Springs in Worth County due to dense fog around 7:05 am. When the Battalion Chief arrived on scene, he radioed out for all incoming response to use caution as there was zero visibility.

- Dense Fog in Georgia, January 30, 2002Widespread dense fog plagued much of north and central Georgia for the second consecutive morning as unseasonably warm and humid air remained entrenched across the southeast United States. Fog was even more widespread than on the 29th.

- Dense Fog in Georgia, January 15, 2001Early morning dense fog contributed to a series of accidents within a 1 hour period across Floyd county and particularly in Rome. Seven separate accidents were reported and attended to by state and local police.
- Dense Fog in Georgia, March 14, 2002Early morning dense fog contributed to one of the deadliest and costliest chain reaction accidents in Georgia's history. The incident occurred on both the north and southbound lanes of Interstate 75 at the Ringgold exit in a valley area.
- Dense Fog in Georgia, February 1, 2012Patchy dense fog developed in the predawn hours across portions of Southeast Georgia. A weak pressure gradient under high pressure over the Western Atlantic allowed for good radiational cooling conditions across the area.
