- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Georgia, September 20 to 23, 2009A historical, record, and catastrophic flood event unfolded during this period, mostly in the west central Georgia area, including the western and northwestern suburbs of Atlanta.

At least four roads across the county had to be closed because of flooding.

- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Georgia, March 2 to 6, 2012Several subtle upper level shortwaves affected the area during a three day period between March 1-3 as a broad long-wave upper level trough located west of the area slowly progressed eastward.

- Tornado and Tropical Storm in Georgia, July 7, 2021Tropical Storm Elsa tracked NNE across the western tier of the local forecast area through the day on Wed, July 7th. The storm made landfall along the FL Big Bend coast.
- Flash Flooding and Hail in Georgia, June 16 to 19, 2003The White county 911 center reported that two males, one a 9-year old and the other a 44-year old, were injured when struck by lightning. The injuries were reported to be minor.
- Flash Flood and Hail in Georgia, August 6, 2003The United States Post Office in Calhoun reported that several roads in the city were flooded with around one foot of water on them. Mail couriers in the area were having difficulty navagating the flooded roadways.
- Damaging Winds and Heavy Rain in Georgia, April 19, 2019Moderate to strong atmospheric instability and shear led to two separate lines of showers and thunderstorms that moved east across the region during the afternoon and evening, producing some wind damage. An indirect fatality occurred in an automobile accident.

- Tornado and Flash Flooding in Georgia, March 27 to 30, 2009A deep and intensifying upper trough was moving from the southwest U.S. into the southeast U.S. from March 27th through the 29th. Several rounds of showers and thunderstorms preceded the final passage of the upper low on the 29th.
- Flash Flooding and Hail in Georgia, March 19 to 21, 2003The Catoosa county 911 center reported that several trees and power lines were blown down along Interstate 75. Several barrels were also blown off the interstate in this area.
