  Southern Cleveland County in the Piedmont of North Carolina...
  East central Spartanburg County in Upstate South Carolina...
  Cherokee County in Upstate South Carolina...

* Until 845 PM EDT.
    
* At 758 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 8 miles southwest of Gaffney, or near Pacolet Mills,
  moving northeast at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Gaffney around 810 PM EDT.
  Earl, Patterson Springs, Blacksburg, Grover and Boiling Springs NC 
  around 830 PM EDT.
  Shelby around 840 PM EDT.
