  heavy rain across the warned area. The expected rainfall rate is 2 
  to 3 inches in 1 to 2 hours. Flash flooding is expected to begin 
  shortly as torrential thunderstorms moved from greater Greenville 
  to Spartanburg into the Foothills of Polk and Rutherford Counties.
