FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  830 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION......
 
IN EAST WEST VIRGINIA

RUNOFF FROM OVERNIGHT AND EARLY MORNING RAINS CONTINUES THIS AFTERNOON
IN POCAHONTAS COUNTY. SEVERAL SMALL STREAMS CONTINUE TO OVERFLOW.
MOST STREAMS HAVE CRESTED AND ARE NOW FALLING...BUT STONER CREEK
CONTINUES TO RISE.
 
THE HEADWATER AREA OF THE GREENBRIER RIVER AT DURBIN HAS CRESTED BELOW
BANKFULL AND IS NOW FALLING....BUT CONTINUES TO RISE SLOWLY AT CASS.
 
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS HAVE BEEN FORMING IN CENTRAL WEST VIRGINA AND
SHOULD MOVE INTO POCAHONTAS COUNTY...MAINLY THE SOUTHERN HALF DURING
THE NEXT HOUR.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  TH\E WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND. WATCH OUT FOR MUD SLIDES.
