IN SOUTH CENTRAL WEST VIRGINIA ...MCDOWELL COUNTY...WYOMING COUNTY HEAVY SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS HAVE DUMPED AND ESTIMATED 2.00 TO 3.00 INCHES OF RAIN ACROSS THESE COUNTIES RESULTING IN SMALL STREAM FLOODING. ADDITIONAL SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED THROUGH EARLY MORNING AND WILL LIKELY RESULT IN CONTINUED FLOODING PROBLEMS. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND. WATCH OUT FOR MUD SLIDES.
