THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHARLESTON HAS CONTINUED A
SMALL STREAM FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 300 AM EDT THURSDAY
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...S...

IN WEST WEST VIRGINIA

   ...LINCOLN COUNTY...WAYNE COUNTY

RAIN AND SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS HAVE PRODUCED RAINFALL AMOUNTS UP
TO 2.5 INCHES OF RAIN SINCE 700 AM THIS MORNING IN PORTIONS OF WAYNE
AND LINCOLN COUNTIES. SMALL STREAMS ARE STILL OUT OF THIER BANKS IN
SEVERAL LOCATIONS. SHOWERS AND SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED
TO CONTINUE THROUGH THE NIGHT TIME HOURS AND WITH LOCALIZE AREAS OF
HEAVY RAIN.  THIS WILL ADD TO THE SMALL STREAM FLOODING THAT IS
CURRENTLY OCCURRING.

BE ESPECIALLY CAREFULL AT NIGHT...AS FLOODING OF ROADWAYS ARE HARD
TO SEE.  DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS
THE ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND. WATCH OUT FOR MUD SLIDES.
