The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Tornado Watch for portions of 
  Northeast Georgia
  Central North Carolina
  Western and Central South Carolina

* Effective this Thursday morning and afternoon from 1010 AM
  until 500 PM EST.

* Primary threats include...
  A few tornadoes possible
  Widespread damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely

SUMMARY...Multiple lines and clusters of thunderstorms will track
rapidly northeastward across the watch area today, posing a risk of
damaging wind gusts and a few tornadoes.

The tornado watch area is approximately along and 50 statute miles
north and south of a line from 35 miles west southwest of Athens GA
to 35 miles north northeast of Southern Pines NC. For a complete
