AREAS AFFECTED...WRN TX

CONCERNING...SEVERE POTENTIAL...WATCH POSSIBLE

VALID 190309Z - 190445Z

STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO INCREASE IN COVERAGE AND INTENSITY INTO THE
EARLY MORNING OVER PORTIONS OF WRN TX WITH ISOLATED LARGE HAIL AND
DAMAGING WIND THE PRIMARY THREATS. AREA IS BEING MONITORED FOR WW.

RETREATING DRYLINE IS IN THE PROCESS OF MERGING WITH A PACIFIC COLD
FRONT OVER SWRN TX NEAR THE SE NM BORDER. AS THIS DEEPER BAROCLINIC
ZONE INTERCEPTS MOIST AXIS STORMS WILL LIKELY INCREASE IN INTENSIFY
GIVEN RESERVOIR OF MODERATE MUCAPE DOWNSTREAM. EFFECTIVE SHEAR OF
40-45 KT WITHIN THIS ZONE OF DEEPER FORCING WILL SUPPORT POTENTIAL
FOR ORGANIZED STORMS INCLUDING SUPERCELLS. HOWEVER...THERE MAY BE A
TENDENCY FOR SOME OF THE STORMS TO GROW UPSCALE WITHIN THE ZONE OF
STRONG LINEAR CONVERGENCE. WHILE AN ISOLATED TORNADO OR TWO CANNOT
BE RULED OUT...DAMAGING WIND AND LARGE HAIL ARE EXPECTED TO BE THE
PRIMARY THREATS.
