* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this 
  afternoon to a crest of 36.2 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It 
  will then fall below flood stage early Saturday afternoon.
* Impact...At 37.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding inundates pasture 
  and cropland between the Guadalupe/San Marcos river confluence and 
  Gonzales. Secondary roads, low bridges and much of the city park 
  and facilities near the river in Gonzales are flooded.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 36.4 
  feet on 04/22/1926.
