...The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio TX has issued 
a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Texas...

  Comal River At New Braunfels affecting Gonzales, Comal and 
  Guadalupe Counties.

For the Guadalupe River...NB Abv Comal, New Braunfels, NB Below 
Comal...Minor to Moderate flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio has issued a

* Flood Warning for
  the Comal River At New Braunfels.
* From early this morning to this afternoon.
* At 3:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 11.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending 
  at 3:45 AM CDT Thursday was 11.4 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.1 feet 
  over the next hour or two. It will then fall below flood stage 
  this morning.
* Impact...At 11.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding extends into low 
  areas near the tube chute at Prince Solms Park above San Antonio 
  Street and low areas of the flood plain.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 11.9 
  feet on 05/15/1994.
