...The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio TX has issued 
a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Texas...

  Blanco River At San Marcos affecting Caldwell and Hays Counties.

  San Marcos River at Luling affecting Caldwell and Gonzales 
  Counties.

For the Blanco and San Marcos Rivers...including San Marcos and 
Luling...Minor to Moderate flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

To escape rising water, take the shortest path to higher ground.

* At 5:21 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 21.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending 
  at 5:21 AM CDT Thursday was 21.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will crest near 22 feet by 7am Thursday 
  morning. It will then slowly fall in minor flood stage with a 
  possible secondary crest near 13 feet around mid-day Thursday. The 
  river will fall below flood stage Thursday afternoon and continue 
  to slowly fall.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 20.5 
  feet on 05/04/2019.

  the San Marcos River at Luling.
* From this morning to early Saturday morning.
* At 4:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 11.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage around 
  9am and continue to a crest of 25.2 feet just after midnight 
  tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow 
  afternoon.
* Impact...At 24.0 feet, Moderate flooding in Palmetto State Park 
  five miles below Luling inundates many park facilities and roads.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 24.5 
  feet on 04/24/2015.
