The deadliest
- Hurricane and Heavy Rain in Guam, April 11 to 19, 1997Typhoon Isa (02W) was within the Guam Area of Responsibility from the 9th until the 21st. It was first reported as a tropical disturbance on the 9th. It became a tropical storm on the 12th. On the 12th it was near Pohnpei. Peak wind gust observed across the island were 60 mph.
- Hurricane and Tropical Storm in Guam, April 10 to 16, 2026What eventually became Super Typhoon Sinlaku (04W) originally crossed the Date Line at 4N around March 29, with a circulation at 4.2N 179.5E.
- Tropical Storm in Guam, March 11 to 16, 2015Tropical Storm Bavi (03W) moved across Micronesia between March 11th and March|16th. The storm did cause some damages across the region and may have sunk an 83-foot fishing vessel.
- High Surf in Guam, June 29, 2004After five men went out into the waters off Piti in three kayaks, heavy surf overturned the kayaks. Two bodies were later recovered, and the other three are presumed drowned.
- Hurricane in Guam, March 26 to 31, 2015Between the 26th and 31st of March, Typhoon Maysak moved across Chuuk and Yap|States in Micronesia. It killed four people in Chuuk Lagoon, and flattened much of Ulithi Atoll in Yap State.
- Rip Current in Guam, June 27, 2004Three Chinese women, ages unknown, drowned in rough waters and strong currents off Sugar Dock Beach near Garapan, Saipan.
- High Surf in Guam, January 6 to 11, 2014Strong Storms off east of Japan and north of the Marianas generated large swells|across Guam. This resulted in several water related fatalities.
- Hurricane in Guam, May 23 to 25, 2023Mawar developed over the Northwest Pacific Ocean in the second half of May. It moved northwestward from near Chuuk to eventually cross the Mariana Islands near Guam and Rota.
- Hurricane and Rip Current in Guam, August 2 to 9, 2015Typhoon Soudelor moves across the Western Pacific during the two weeks of|August. It passed across the island of Saipan late on the 2nd and early on the|3rd of August.
- Rip Current in Guam, January 3, 2001A husband and wife (both 54 years of age) were snorkeling with their three children (a 26 year old female, a 23 year old male and a 20 year old male). Rough waters dragged them over the reef.
- Rip Current in Guam, January 3 to 4, 2001A group of seven illegal immigrants from mainland China jumped from a Taiwanese fishing boat off Apra Harbor's reef at 2000 GLST. A few got caught in the strong swells which resulted in the deaths of two of them.
- Tropical Storm in Guam, April 10, 2003A weak circulation was noted on the evening of the 7th near 3N 157E. It had moved to near 4N 160E by the morning of the 9th. The Joint Typhoon Warning Center classified it as a Tropical Depression 02W later that day and to a tropical storm by the evening.
- Rip Current in Guam, February 10, 2004A tourist and his wife drowned at Laulau Beach while snorkeling when strong rip currents and large waves carried them past the reef.
- Rip Current in Guam, November 5 to 6, 2006Two men were night fishing on the reef at Pago Bay. Some time between 2100 GST Nov 5th and 0200 GST on the 6th, the men were apparently swept into the water and drowned in the strong rip currents.
- Rip Current in Guam, April 21, 2010About 2230 GST the evening of April 21st, three men in their 30s who were spear fishing off the east coast of Guam in Togcha Bay near Talofofo were caught in and separated by strong rip currents.
- High Surf in Guam, January 2, 2011At about 17:30 GST the evening of January 2nd, a six-person outrigger canoe rowed by a high-school rowing club capsized in rough water and high surf along the reef line of Tumon Bay on the west coast of Guam. A man in a kayak who went out to help was also overturned in the surf.
- High Surf in Guam, January 22, 2011Four men were setting nets and fishing off Ipan Beach on the east coast of Guam between 19:00 and 21:00 GST the evening of January 22nd, when a wave washed them off the reef. Strong currents carried three of them into the open ocean while the other was able to swim to shore.

- Rip Currents in Guam, March 13 to 17, 2024A mix of northerly and easterly swells led to hazardous conditions in the surf zone of Guam.
- Hurricane in Guam, October 24 to 25, 2018Super Typhoon Yutu passed through the Marianas October 24th to 25th. Yutu was classified as the second most powerful storm to hit the U.S.A.
- Hurricane in Guam, December 8 to 9, 2002A circulation became Tropical Depression 31W early on the morning of the 3rd. It was about 70 miles north-northeast of Kosrae. It quickly became Tropical Storm Pongsona later that morning.
- Hurricane in Guam, March 1 to 4, 2002SUPERTYPHOON MITAGOn the morning of the 25th Scatterometer data had shown a weak circulation south of Pohnpei near 4N 158E. Near midnight on the morning of February 27 the circulation moved west to a location near 285 miles east-southeast of Chuuk.
