- Drought in Florida, May 1 to 20, 2001A 13-month period of below normal rainfall ended on May 20 with the beginning of the 2001 rainy season. Rainfall amounts since May 2000 over interior and southwest portions of south Florida and over all of Palm Beach County averaged about 30% below normal.
- Wildfire and Drought in Florida, March 1 to 31, 2026Almost record below normal rainfall continued during the month of March, persisting extreme drought (D3) conditions area-wide and upgraded the Suwannee Valley and inland southeast Georgia into an exceptional drought (D4) by the end of March.
- Drought in Florida, May 1 to 31, 2026Several rounds of beneficial rain throughout the month of May brought slight improvements to the long term extreme drought (D3) and exceptional drought (D4) conditions across northeast Florida and southeast Georgia.

- Drought in Florida, May 1 to 31, 2012Drought conditions ranged from D2 severe status to D4 exceptional status across the area to start the month. The D4 conditions were confined to the southeast big bend, including portions of Taylor, Lafayette, and Dixie counties.
- Drought in Florida, April 1 to 30, 2012Drought conditions expanded across the Florida Panhandle and Big Bend during April. By the end of the month, the entire region was in at least D2 severe drought status, and portions of southeast Taylor, Lafayette, and Dixie counties were in D4 exceptional drought status.

- Drought in Florida, August 1 to 31, 2011August started with D2-D3 drought conditions (moderate to severe) across the counties listed. Below average rainfall fell during the month, and D2-D3 drought conditions persisted across the counties listed through the end of the month and into September.
- Drought in Florida, July 1 to 31, 2011The month started with exceptional drought conditions (D4) across portions of Walton, Holmes, Washington, Bay, Jackson, Calhoun, extreme northern Liberty, northern Gadsden, extreme northern Leon, extreme northern Jefferson, and extreme northern Madison counties.
- Drought in Florida, June 1 to 30, 2026Extreme drought (D3) and exceptional drought (D4) conditions across northeast Florida and southeast Georgia gradually improved through the month of June due to the shift to a more typical summertime sea breeze pattern bringing rainfall each day.
- Drought in Florida, February 1 to 29, 2012D2-D3 drought conditions (severe to extreme) were present across most of northwest Florida through the month of February. Some beneficial rainfall fell near the end of the month with a few areas getting reduced to D1 (moderate) conditions, especially around Walton county.
- Drought in Florida, June 1 to 30, 2011The continuing drought worsened this month with all of the counties listed above in at least extreme drought conditions (D3) by the end of the month.
- Drought in Florida, February 1 to 13, 2018Heavy rain ended the D2 drought across the Florida panhandle and big bend by 2/13/18.
- Drought in Florida, January 9 to 31, 2018D2 drought conditions developed and expanded across portions of the Florida panhandle and big bend during the week of 1/9/18 and continued into February.
- Drought in Florida, November 1 to 30, 2022D2 drought covered much of the area in northwest Florida from Tallahassee westward during the entire month of November and continued into December.
- Drought in Florida, December 1 to 31, 2025Portions of northwest Florida started December with drought conditions ranging from D2-D4 across the area. Beneficial rain fell during the middle of the month, and the D4 drought eased back to D2-D3 across the area through the end of the month.
- Drought in Florida, January 1 to 31, 2026D2-D3 drought persisted in January and continued into February.
- Wildfire and Drought in Florida, May 1 to 26, 2009The winter/spring drought over South Florida intensified during early parts of May, but came to a quick end as copious rainfall fell during the last 2 weeks of the month.
